- Honda TRX200 revival, today we will troubleshoot the neutral light, reverse light, and starter interlock issues. The mystery of the corroded relay under the left fender will also be solved. When finished, the key switch, dash lights and starter will all work properly. 1984 Honda TRX200 Revival!
Great stuff, just picked up a 1984 200es yesterday and rode it for an hour tonight. Plenty more to do with it but the wiring is next, thanks.
Neutral safety switch is behind left side engine cover having a hard time finding one

👍👍 Fixing bad wiring is usually half the battle. It is on it's way to being reliable again.

I got one of these for free a few days ago. The motor was all seized up so I got it unlocked, rebuilt the carburetor, and fixed the spark issue and it’s starts up first pull every time and runs like a champ but now the hi low and reverse knob is getting stuck and when I accelerate it’s getting a loud clunk sound and kinda jerks. Any suggestions or ideas on what the issue could be?? 🤔

My green neutral light went out on mine ,is that just a tiny bulb ,reverse light works.
Can the neutral safety switch be bypassed ? Mine has both lights on at the same time and the engine won't start.
Or maybe I should ask. What causes both lights to be on at the same time?
Have a 84 trx200 still going. Does need new neutral switch but have a bypass option for now.

Man harvey what i would do for them back fenders lol. I can find tons of trx200 parts and i have a shed full of them but i cannot find a decent set. All of them i find are zip tied all over. Love them trx200 atvs. Mine has never got stuck and always get me home. Gotta love them old hondas 36 years old and always fires up

I have a honda 200trx the reverse and neutral light stays on
I can put it in gear the neutral light goes out but the reverse light stays
I put it back in neutral and try to start it the engine turns over but im not getting any spark at my spark plug what can be wrong with this honda
I’m sure it will work better then there’s ! On my 250 the battery is back by the left rear tire and there is a fuse, I pulled the fuse and it was for the starter ! Go figure ! So I’m thinking that the one your not sure of is for the starter ? 👍
En genshin, fue algo injusto, ya que en honor jugo pelando, y hay mucho efecto de los poderes y magias, y en Samsung paso más tiempo paseando, pero en sí Samsung lo mató en general 😭

Can a damaged neutral switch from a popped off chain on a chinese atv cause a no spark. It still turns over
Mine has both on at a same time with brand new Cdi box and no spark
