Playing for the Lake Elsinore Storm just an hour north of my San Diego and this kid handles himself like a 30 yo calling the game as cool as a cucumber and batting with patience of an experienced veteran eye. He will be in the bigs by 19yos and he is the real deal. Go Padres!

MLB has a 17 year old minimum age limit for international players, which Salas is. Given the Padres' catcher situation this season, he could potentially make the team better this year 😅
His bowman chrome auto is going to be huge curious if they add it to bowman chrome or will wait till next year! Panini will definitely have a few of his auto's in elite extra edition! Can't wait love prospect's and he's absolutely amazing to watch play looks like he's in his 20's!

Can’t wait to see this kids future impact. My wife had met him but he was with Soto and cronenworth along with Tim hill. She didn’t realize that he was the next generation.. though it was someone’s son tagging along. We laugh about it every time his names brought up.

What is left of that money should be invested and used to feed him and pay his bills through the grind of the minor leagues on his way to the show. That insures he has security in life. He might wash out in the bigs and never have a career. He could have a career ending injury or health problem. So you just never know. Hope he is smart with that money.
