Hey man. It appears this is it: ua-cam.com/video/PqHzCPxVrEE/v-deo.html If I recall correctly, the history of this song is as follows: Soon after the Fall of Constantinople, the west organised a gathering of the kings and leaders of the west to assemble at a certain place (I forget where) for the purpose to stir up their hearts to come to the aid of the eastern Christians and save them. These songs were performed and were meant to fire up these western royals. It is said the event was filled with great emotion, and (I think) the guests even vowed to come to the rescue. But alas! nothing eventuated. Anyway I suggest you look this up so if I said anything wrong, you can learn the exact truth of that event. :)

And the list goes on. Yes, the Roman Empire, in all its forms, never truly abolished slavery. But by the year 1000, it was pretty rare. The Byzantine Empire was christian, and thus slavery was seen as an unnatural state of human existence. If in Ancient Roman Empire(not a fan of those, tbh), slavery was a very important component to their daily lives. With no free labour, i'm not sure they could have endured as much as they did. But after it became a christian empire, things started to change. Although freedom was not on the table just yet, the romans made laws to ensure that the owner cannot kill a slave without proper cause. As in... before slaves were mere objects and not even considered humans. So, the Eastern Roman Empire still had slaves, but so did the majority of the world back then, and slavery was still an important factor for many countries for centuries to come. As for bullies, everyone was at war with everyone. Who was the bully in that case? Such were the times. We absolutely reject such practices now, but to try and judge societies hundreds and even thousands of years ago based on our present morality is not smth you should do. Besides, if you really want to blame someone for being a bully, we have a few of those in modern times. And they have nukes. But i see you really hate the romans. They were not perfect, by any means. But the reason i like the Eastern Romans is because christianity changed them fundamentally. But if you think they were horrible, i look at the Tudor period and i am mortified.
There is no Constantinople any longer to take back. Istanbul has replaced Constantinople. You cannot turn the clock back. You might take instanbul, but you will never get Constantinople back. Even if you change the name, it is NOT the same after all this time....

Therefore you cant expect Him to be under your microscope, for scientific methods can only detect matter etc. To expect him to be detected by a scientific method is foolish. The existence of God can be validated through philosophical arguments such as the Cosmological and the Teleological argument etc. That's the best we as humans can do. Also the crucifixion of Christ is attested by multiple independent sources including extrabiblical ones. The vast majority of biblical scholars agree that Jesus of Nazareth was indeed crucified. Since you seem like such a die hard atheist, check the debate between Craig and Hitchens. May the Lord guide you.

Thank you for reuploading this playlist. Do you happen to have the other one which was online a few years ago, which was called "Byzantine chants part 2" in a first time, then "Spiritual Byzantine chants" in a second moment? It had Mount Nemrut as its thumbnail, with ancient statues in the shape of heads standing on a arid slope of this mount in Turkey. Has someone else found it anywhere? Cause I'm looking for it but I can't find it anywhere.

@@FearNoGrave Alright, thanks!
Hey man. It appears this is it: ua-cam.com/video/PqHzCPxVrEE/v-deo.html
If I recall correctly, the history of this song is as follows:
Soon after the Fall of Constantinople, the west organised a gathering of the kings and leaders of the west to assemble at a certain place (I forget where) for the purpose to stir up their hearts to come to the aid of the eastern Christians and save them.
If my reading of the Latin (or is it Italian? Idk) is correct, it says, ‘Lamentation of the Holy Mother Church of Constantinople.’

Are you under the impression that I don’t KNOW your big book of mythology? Hahahahaha…. I think you will find that most atheists know the bible much better than the average xtian….
I am not only stating that he does do anything to stop the war or other bad things, he actively CAUSES those bad things, or commands those bad things to happen in your big book of multiple choice. He endorses things such as slavery, genocide, misogyny, incest, infanticide, rape, homophobia, encourages his nemesis the devil/lucifer/satan to have free reign and do his bidding by supposedly influencing humanity etc… he created his own arch nemesis, then frees him onto his creation, does not limit his power or do away with him etc… thus making him guilty of all the harm that satan supposedly causes…

judaism and islam are sister religions to yours... they both believe in the father god, yahweh/allah... you are all 'brothers of the book' as it has been claimed.. you are all abrahamic religions... but then again... this is what religion does.. it creates an US vs THEM situation... it divides rather than unites, against what you all claim. Religions of peace?? How droll... We don't even have to go that far to find disunity/acrimony/discord... just look at the two oldest xtian denominations... orthodox and catholic...with a close second the coptic church... these xtians have been separated from their brothers/sister in this god of yours for over almost a thousand years (1500 if you include the coptics)... where is the unity and peace when the two oldest branches still cannot be in communion together? And then you expect all the thousand of other denominations to join you?? Really?? hahahahaha... sorry, but that is the very definition of delusion.

funny how so many love and lament the Eastern Roman Empire today, but 600years ago and prior everyone hated it
Very true, the West hated it like it does Russia today... coincidence? I think not
No reason to lament it. It is still very much alive today in the Eastern Orthodox Churches.
@@eliseereclus3475 yeah... but if it survived, it would have been a republic today. Or what? The British Empire was any better? The French Empire? The Russian Empire? No. But they are still around, in another form. The romans were wiped out. The eastern half was predominantly greek, that much is true. But they saw themselves as true romans. And they were. Pity they did not survive. For me, it would have been an honor to meet a roman.
@@eliseereclus3475 1803 - Denmark becomes the first european country to abolish slavery.
1807 - GB abolished svalery.
1794 - French Republic abolishes slavery, but only in 1848 was it finally ended, going back and forth during that time.
1815 - Austria
1865 - The United States of America.
Everyone hated it because everyone else wanted to believe they were the true successors to Rome, even the venicians
Shall we take back Constantinople yes we shall

I’ve addressed this previously. I do not monetize any of my videos. UA-cam runs ads regardless of trying to opt out. If a record label claims copyright of the music then ads are automatically added to the video. That is the case with this and several of my other videos. If you do not want to see ads, then either purchase UA-cam premium or use an ad-blocker. There is nothing I can do to resolve the issue, I’ve tried several times.
