I'm reliving my first Veteran ride experience from a month ago thru your video! Lol Yeah man that wheel is sooo ridiculously stable; you have to experience it to understand how unfuckingbelievable the Sherman is!! Best wheel in history of EUC's imo Great content!!
Oh and yea I run a lower pressure too like 23psi and it's almost like it has it's own suspension. I weigh probably 185 and 200 fully geared. I have V11 too and you absolutely made the right decision with the Sherman- much better machine due to 100volts, massive battery, and best riding EUC ever made imo!
Hi Steve, thanks for the info. Ill bring my tire pressure down abit. Just done 300k and wow im blown away by this wheel. Its a proper mode of transport. I just want to ride it all the time. So comfortable and so stable. I would still like to have a go on the v11 but i dont think i would have been as excited to ride so much with the v11.
The range is insane. Even though the battery WH is slightly over 3x the V10f, it rides like at least 6x the range. Just goes on and on. You will get exhausted before the Sherman does.
Your not wrong there. Im taking a few days off as ive been riding it everyday for 20 to 30k rides and my legs are pretty sore haha. Cant imagine doing 150k in one day hahaha. But be good to get the conditioning in.
Great video...Such an awesome wheel! My Sherman is parked for the winter (the snow seems to be here to stay), but at least I get to watch you ride yours.
Like the fact you got the sherman > I knew you needed that one. I like the solid feel . On level ground is great but I take my 16x on the steeper hills stuff. No need to pack so much weight in the hills but it can climb moderate stuff..
Hi Mark, This wheel just makes me want to ride. So many country roads on my door step. The wheel is so comfy and stable i cant believe it. I actually appreciate my V10F a lot more now and im going to hold on to it.
Nice wheel... I fancy upgrading from my 18L. Good to see you back. Been watching a few wild camping videos and the sherman would be ideal for that. Any EUC tbh.
Thanks Jn L, yeaha wild camping trip would be pretty epic. Would be limited to charging stations but if i had 2 charges i could get full on 4hrs. Or incinerate hotel stops for a shower and over night charge. Fun times ahead.
I went with the v11. The Sherman should be the only wheel you need for yrs to come. The gated fire trails are great fun to ride. I want a wheel and a body that could ride the great old Northern Rd in nsw, well at least the national park section of it. Brisbane would be great to ride around and use the ferry to return to your starting point. Later.
Hi Todd, im excited to try the V11 one day. Still think its a great wheel. Would love to have both but as mentioned the Sherman is such a great wheel for what i have on offer.
I think I trusted it too early. Easily done! Check out my moors video, if you ever find yourself in the NE U.K. again get in touch. Some amazing spots.
What an EPIC trek it would be if you made the VIC to QLD odyssey! Only thing I would be aware of is that Highway Patrol in NSW have a huge problem with PEVs and would book you on the spot if they saw you on the highway... So be very careful. I know a few people that have been booked hard by HP for riding their eScooters here in Sydney. Ridiculous. The regulations are being reviewed but it's gonna be a while.
haha ive been thinking about it a lot and how to pack the wheel up etc. I do wonder if just paying for air bnb so i can charge up over night would be easier and less weight to carry on the ride so more distance. But standing up for 50k is a long time. I dont intend on ever going on the highway. Thats just madness and wouldn’t be enjoyable at all. There must be country roads to ride on. Be a lot more zig zaggy but fun to pass through all the towns.
@@NonStopNeal I reckon you're less likely to run into them on more rural small roads vs. major highways between cities. HP don't just stick to Highways here in Sydney so be careful regardless of which roads once you reach the city limits. Saying that, ooft, what an EPIC adventure you got in store if you embark on this trek! One for EUC record books for sure! Air BnB or even a caravan park with power source near where you can pitch a one man lightweight tent (depending on how much it weighs packed up of course). And you wouldn't be standing up all the time if you've got the seat installed. Anyway, I've harped on too much. Safe riding mate! :)
Congrats on your purchase! Was wondering which one you picked between the S18, the V11 and the Sherman. I've made the same choice, also from owning a V10F, and I'm in love with my Sherman. It just doesn't beep, all the way down to even less than 20% battery, and allows me to keep going at 40-50 km/h very comfortably. It's really in a class by itself for now.
Hi Patrick, ive nit managed to get the battery that low yet but interested to see how it reacts on low battery. Its such a stable and safe feeling wheel. no beeps and so much buffer from a cut off its a wheel i just want to ride all the time. Enjoy mate.
@@NonStopNeal You know what? I've managed to underestimate the distance on a recent ride, and was forced to ride at 15-20 km/h for the last 10 km, beeping constantly. It did get me back to my car. When I opened the trunk to put it in, I checked the battery and EUC World reported 2% (two!). Great frakking wheel.
Good question. Well the Sherman certainly take way more forward weight through the shins than the V10. I also think the V10 is just better and more agile on bumpy off road areas with good torque . The Sherman can easily do it with such a low risk of a cut out but just take a lot more effort from the rider.
Great to see your videos, enjoy yourself. Remember to gear up and stay safe. Keep in mind, while e-vehicles are better for urban air quality, your and my (USA) electricity is mostly generated by burning coal and gas so the green thing is ...not so much. Hopefully technology can clean those generating sources up over time.
Hi mate, well our electric company generates a big percentage of its electricity from solar here in Australia. I was even looking at a small solar set up where i could plug into and recharge myself. But you right most energy right now is from coal or gas etc, But the cost per mile is nothing compared to a car or motor bike right ?
I'm trying to remember hwich channel I saw it, but I remember watching some oneon an electric bike or possible a skateboard (it's been a while) with a solar panel in their back pack. They're ride a few miles then unpack the solar panels and charge from sunlight for an hour to extend their trip It. didnt get them as much range as they wanted but then I dont think they had much direct light after a certain hour. With your wide open spaces I bet you could get tons of range doing that.
Yeah ive been looking at a home solar set up. Charge a battery and plug in and charge to wheel but it would take a lot of energy and im just not sure how efficient it would be? I guess its a fun thing to play around with and would be awesome to figure out.

Good to see your back! and with a sweet wheel. Congrats!
Id like to see I you can do your tricks on this beast
Thanks dude. Yeah it's a totally different beast to tame that's for sure. I'm getting more and more comfortable with the size and weight now.
Congratulations mate, I have been watching your videos since V8. Happy for you.
Thanks heaps mate for following the adventures . Coming from a V8 up to a Sherman is crazy how the technology has evolved.
