    I seriously don't understand why this isn't getting billions of Euros in funding from ESA or European governments. This can revolutionize space travel, and make Europe a true space superpower.

    Vraiement incroyable travail et une incroyable vidéo ! Ce n'est pas seulement une vision technologique qui y est présenté mais aussi une vision d'un futur possible vu d'Europe. Cela replace l'ambition technologique comme désirable dans le contexte actuel de résilience écologique et de sécurité internationale. Peut-être qu'investir dans une version sous-titrée en différentes langues européennes permettrait de donner plus d'audience à ce formidable spectacle ?

    41:00 Where's the reentry? It just appears next to the ground when it just detached from the space station?

    I think that I missed this part that's why I'm asking here. Can Susie land on the Moon?

    • @quentin1676
      @quentin1676 Рік тому +1

      no, Susie is made to "surf" the atmosphere then turn on its engines to land smoothly... Without atmosphere it won't slow down enough and will just crash

    21:00 That is nice movement this days but its not the perfect one, because is not FULL reusability. but nice for the same money. really clever.

    14:25 all that i already know and it will work only if SpaceX resolve the spaceshop rocket. When the cost per kg to orbit is below 1000€/kg. otherwise it will be like today. Can be other company not necesary SpaceX but the cost per kg is important when want to bring tools and robots to orbit.

    Time will tell, if this "scaleable" concept will make it's way to the launchpad, or it's Mach 35 reentry ordeal into Earth's atmosphere from a Mars trajectory. Beside the fiscal-year budget talks there are also many interests of many EU member states that have to be harmonised and reconciled for this approach - very carefully worded. Despite the fact, that the ELA launchsite and the Ariane 6 launcher have to be modified extensively: Crew access arm and escape gear at the launchpad, and at least uprated solid rocket motors for the Ariane 6 corestage to push it's LEO payload capacity to handle SUSIE. I also want to see more of this mentioned "integrated" abort concept with it's "end-to-end" approach. I guess it's a deep reach into the trickbox by just borrowing parts of the "old" Hermes CEM concept (Crew Escape Module), possibly from the Hermes 5M2 version at most. And if you would use it - yes, it would be like the kick in your ars from an ejection seat! So,
    I'm not convinced yet.

      Sure, time will tell. But one of the scalable aspects of this design is that they can start with non crewed version which requires minimal changes to launchpad infrastructure. To me it seems like they put quite a lot of thought into how to make this economically viable.

    11:48 Yep... being a space garbo... and trash trucker is really going to be a thing! I wonder if they will put a rag doll on the nose of the spacecraft??!!

    2030? hahahah i expect for today, tomorow.litel modification no revolutionary changes and is for 10 years in the future? SpaceX will eat all the contracts if dont make FULLY REUSABILITY.
