This cuckoo has been a regular summer resident in the central Texas mesquite thickets for several years and I love to hear its call . Sometimes I get to see it at small pond outside my house. It is here during the hottest months and then disappears until early summer arrives again . Its call coming through the mesquites on a summer day is a welcome song . Thanks for a great video .
