Awesome Late Summer Bass Fishing on Phalen Lake! East Side St. Paul Minnesota

Welcome back to the channel boys. We are out on the East Side famous Phalen Lake in the heart of St. Paul Minnesota. Home to many Hmong People including myself. I have fished this lake plenty of times on the shore this year but this is my first time on my boat. Will I be able to catch the Phalen Largemouth Bass?!

Hey man, you sure like using baitcaster reels. I tried but am still in backlash mode, so have given up for now. Will need to practice more. Excellent video I have subscribed…fish on man! I have been fishing Keller & Spoon Lake, but have yet to try Phalen, seems that is where the big fish are.

I'm brand new to the channel and live in the twin cities. I've always drop shotted with a yum senko, and let it just sit there. I noticed you're reeling though. Could you explain this technique? Thanks!

I feel it because usually fish strike on the fall. I like to search and cover a lot of area by "feeling" for the bite. Then retrieve and cast in a new area! Good luck bro! 🤙
