Beautiful home and the location looks so peaceful. I wish I could some day can afford a property like that. Whoever buy this house is going to enjoy a relaxing and nice place.
Sure the taxes are high, but Maine is freaking beautiful. I pay less than half that in taxes but my state sucks. More what gets me is the house is off a non neighborhood road. When I go to street view, if I see two yellow lines on the road, that's the deal breaker. But it seems like to get that in Maine you almost need to pay over $400k. Nice house though and Bangor looks like a nice place.
I live in Bangor. The initial tour doesn't convey Bangor appropriately. The area shown is a more industrial zone outside of downtown Bangor, which is only about three minutes from the area shown. The downtown area is much more compelling and is worth understanding before passing judgement on this location.
How are houses in Bangor going for more than houses in Edmond, OK? I've been trying to move home to Bangor, and I can't believe it cost $330K for *that* house. What is going on with housing costs there!? The house I've been renting for 10 years in Edmond, OK is only going for $210K and it's *far* bigger, in a far bigger city, in what's considered the best school district in OK. Anyone have any answers? This is depressing, for someone wanting to come home.
The average ranch style home in Bangor listed on MLS over the past 12 months has sold for $214,633 was 1,470 sq ft and was on the market for 20 days. The average sale was $700 above the asking price.
Beautiful home. I'm just wondering how busy that road out front happens to be and how loud is it? The last thing you want is to be listening to cars and/or tractor trailers all day long. I made that mistake in Las Vegas. Never got a moments peace.
What really disturbs me is the annual over 5000 USD tax that sits on it. Why is that good for? So over an average loan delay of 30 years it will cost you half a million.
@@lifestyleproperties about 5 million people choose to live there, and all of the rural US loves the federal tax money that flows in from affluent US cities to rural red counties, even if they don't admit it

We agree! Thanks for watching.
Glad it's not a boring "open concept"... Refreshing

I agree. I like the living room to be separate, but kitchen /dining together. This floor plan was lovely.
I would relocate in a second if I could afford it. It's so nice an peaceful. Beautiful.
Thanks for commenting Bea.
That's a lot of house with some beautiful features. The taxes are high and I suspect because of it's proximity to Bangor. Lovely walkthrough. Thanks!
Thanks Judith
Wouldn’t they have a Homestead Credit.
Beautiful house but super high taxes!😱
Got to pay for good schools and lots of services. Check out some of the more rural towns nearby and the taxes will be much less.
@@lifestyleproperties good schools is not dependent on high taxes but on dedicated teachers
Lol try NY state.

Two different shades of roofing, mismatched microwave but I love the house! Double those taxes for much of New York State !
Thanks for the comments David.

Hi Luke. Bangor does have a vibrant downtown and the Bangor waterfront is beautiful. Thanks for your feedback.
Was that a survey marker across the road - construction pending?
$427.09 in property taxes every month.
Deal breaker
That's correct.
Crazy taxes
That is alot for taxes, alot of the finished need updating.Still a very nice house in nice town and setting!
Unless you live in California. l wish l could live there.
The video was so chopped up between rooms, it was hard to see the layout of the home. Looks like a nice home though.
Check the 3D tour in the description it will help put it all together.
Gorgeous, how much snow do they get????
averages 60 - 70 inches

U cant compare homes in OK to homes in ME. Completely different parts of the country

Thanks for watching. You would need to come see the property to decide if the traffic is acceptable.

Exactly. A wise buyer will pick an area with low or no taxes, and live within their means. Being debt free is exhilarating and I recommend it.
Very nice location. Taxes a bit high though.

taxes are outrageous. You could live in Seattle or Portland and pay similar taxes, which are hugely overpriced.
But who would want to?

The cameraman for this tour almost seems personally opposed to showcasing the entirety of rooms.
Hi April, here is a link to the 3D virtual tour showing virtually the entire interior. my.matterport.com/show/?m=2gvAMCqT9Ag
I thought the opposite. I thought he wanted to show more but the realtor kept moving on and talking about the next thing
Is this a manufacturered home?
It is modular construction.
No, it is not manufactured.
The taxes seem high compared to the price.
Thanks for sharing.
Congrats to new owners that can afford $5+K p/yr in property taxes. Yikes! For that price I'd live free or die in NH.

Nice floor plan but it would cost a fortune to get it out of the 1980s.
I love it like it is.
Us too.
The house was built in 2001. There is nothing 1980’s in it.
Tax is atmosphericaly high

already sold.
Yes it has sold
And soon the farm land will be a solar farm. Not a honest sell in Maine.
