Thankful for Pastor Wilson's teachings and Christ Church ministries. It is Such a blessing for those of us on the opposite side of the country, and I'm sure around the world. I've learned and grown so much in my walk w Christ, especially over these past couple years. Thank you.
Wilson is exemplary. It's bewildering and grieving at the fact that many Pastors and churches aren't discerning the times nor understanding what we must do as the Church. Messages like these need to be heard in every church that we'll all be corrected and stirred to hope!
Thank you for again, fearlessly confronting us with the truth of the gospel. This teaching helped me even more connect the dots of what is happening in our nation/world, and how to more biblically respond to it. The idea of biblical hospitality (not just entertaining) being part of how we are preparing for what God has for us down the road was enlightening. Our fellowship has he tradition of sharing a fellowship meal together every Lord’s Day after service. This has given great opportunity to yes, grumble, and learn to serve, share, spend time together, etc. it ways I didn’t realize the true significance of until now. Appreciate the insight, rebuke, and encouragement from this message!
MATTHEW CHAPTER 13:1-23 is chocked with wisdom . DANIEL CHAPTER 1,3,6 is a elixir for mettle that leads to resolve.🙏✝️♨️🧬🔥🛐🤲 Thank You Very Much Douglass Wilson for this talk full of Exhortations. 🗣👥💢👤🤺
2 Cor. 4:6-7 For God, who commanded the light to shine out of darkness, hath shined in our hearts, to give the light of the knowledge of the glory of God in the face of Jesus Christ. But we have this treasure in earthen vessels, that the excellency of the power may be of God, and not of us.
What an encouraging and helpful word from Pastor Doug Wilson. Toward the end I was reminded of a favorite children’s book by Joan G. Thomas entitled “If Jesus Came to My House”.
If anyone could help me out that would be amazing - I’m in the UK and in need of a church with a real backbone, anyone know anywhere that Pastor Doug has been for conferences etc or is friends with over here that align theologically and would be a good place to become a member of?
Unfortunately there's a lot of cliques in the church... I know many a brethren that couldn't care less about you unless you have a UA-cam channel podcast, bunch of followers on Twitter, etc. See it all the time.
As was talked about in the sermon, people are not perfect. There are always going to be problems. All you can do is your part in making sure you are not that way.

Love my people--that's definitely a word from the Lord.

Great message. Thank you.
How were we supposed to do all of this when we were shut down for a year? I still can't get over it. How can we now pretend it never happened?
I’m not with you physically, but I’m with you.

I am not in the UK but I hope you're able to find a church. Maybe do a search on where Pastor Doug has been speaking?

Evading the issue not dealing with reality question what is it? Do you really know, God knows.
