This gave me an idea! The home office needs window treatments and I need more shelf space. I can place corbels on either side of my window at the top, place a ledge on top and there I have it! Shortage and window treatment that finally turns my plain window to “not plain anymore” window! Thanks for the idea Sarah. BTW: tell the Minister of the Interior to wake up!

My husband is a journeyman carpenter who also doesn't listen, and when we remodeled our kitchen, he made the corbels for open shelves instead of installing upper cabinets. I have my grandma's jadeite and it looks so charming displayed on the shelves. I inherited 3 generations of vintage stuff, I have some of it in every room. I can't live without the nod to the past, continually reminding me of such great memories from those women in my life. Love you, Sarah.

I am married to a contractor who put everything in the garbage when remodeling. We bought a hundred year old house and a number of old carved wooden pieces were left behind. When I went over to pick up a table I wanted for my dining room he had put everything into the dumpster. At one point he had to do historical restoration work on some buildings and it killed him that he had to spend time repairing “old junk”.

I just attended as I was Corbelly invited to Sarah Richardson corbel design class. LOVED IT! Ps. You use them so poetically, a few SR cleverly placed Corbels got past me. Dang you are that good! They look as if they SHOULD be there. And that is the key to RESALVAGE. You are still applying some sort of secret sauce...and unlike your husband, I didn't HEAR that element. Teach me master, teach me. Is it scale?

@@larrywayne6254 they don’t have it on demand yet sug, I am sorry but her shows or on the abl network channel and design inc comes on at 9:00-9:30pm and room service comes on at 9:30-10:00pm (sometimes it will be Sarah 101 just under those names) weeknights I know -not sure about weekends and they also come on in the afternoons between 3:00 -4:00 I think but not as sure about the afternoon times. I hope they put them on demand soon and get all her shows. If you click on home & diy on the live page -you will see abl listed as well as front door and design network which has design shows and some that are on demand. I am in the eastern us time zone not sure if that makes a difference
