It was a bit more than that. Out of the difficult choices put before him, Loki chose the hardest one of all: to see the bigger picture, sacrifice his own selfish desire for power and friendship, & instead sublimate them into a selfless & ongoing act of protecting the greater good. Rather than accept defeat or embrace killing as a method for reinforcing a flawed system designed to maintain toxic, undemocratic power, Loki used his own abilities to dismantle and replace that outdated system by putting himself at the center instead. This in turn, would save the lives of Loki's friends, but also keep him from them. The hardest, unseen & unsung work requires regular sacrifice. This loki variant got the same speech from stark in the tower. “There’s no throne, there is no version of this where you come out on top”. Sure he got defeated in New York but in the end he got his throne with no one to kneel before him.
Just remember once king Odin said to Thor & Loki - "Both of you were born to become Kings" And the finale hits differently ❇️🥵 He bacame the God of multiverse/Time.
I’m more than fine if this is the last we’ll ever see of Loki. This is his perfect ending: he’s finally found the throne he’s always been after but accepted the responsibilities that come with it.
Yeah I agree. One of the things I loved about the ending was that they didn’t simply copy and paste the type of ending that Loki had in the main timeline where he died at the hands of Thanos. This Loki got what both versions long wanted but now he’ll have to be alone for all time
Don't be sad for him he now everywhere connected to everyone who live in time now he know every secret about everyone He will sit on throne forever but He can travel everywhere
Odin was not wrong when he picked you up from the ground about to die because he knew that you were destined for a glorious purpose: to take care of the lines of time and protect the multiverse.
I love how the Green Theme and the TVA theme are mixed. Loki's still Loki, but he's also the TVA, the Multiverse, everything. And we can go further, the TVA theme is similar to the HWR one, we can easely bet that Loki become HWR (obviously).
Ah man as soon as those drums come in I knew shit was getting real for the MCU, those sad but triumphant piano-synth notes that feel like they’re leading us down the long and lonely path he’s travelled.. and to hear Loki’s brass theme play very very quietly before the bass hits is just *a chefs kiss* because if music is how we decorate time, Loki must be “ahead of the music” Thank you Natalie Holt for making the greatest soundtrack to a hero/villain after the imperial march (yes I said it, listen to this song again if you have to lol) and I can’t wait to hear what she has in store for the future but this theme will ALWAYS have a special place in my heart
his glorious purpose was always to rule, but he could only fulfill that role once he realized that it's not what he truly wants, because what makes a Loki a Loki is that they always lose. even if they've won.
0:43 sing along to the music "Lonely, I am so lonely, I have nobody for my own." If this was done intentionally by Natalie Holt then she is an absolute genius as this perfectly explains Loki's character arc
The ending was so extremly well written becouse during last episode we can see few scenes that make it so epic. At the beggining of the series, Loki reveales to Mobius that he desires throne above all. In the last episode during his struggles to save the TVA he says to Sylvie (i guess) after everythings he's been through he doesn't care about the throne anymore. And in the end we can see that he actually gets to sit the throne that he desired in the beggining, and once he didn't care he got it. Probably not the type of throne anyone would really want, but still 😅
The moment Loki least wanted a throne and wanted actual relationship and friends is when he gets the biggest throne of them all. A perfect ending to his character. WHAT A SHOW
Interesting thing is the god of story's that he has become he can see every universe every thing that is happening he can even see his brother and his friends and what there upto.

Easily the best music in the show
For Glorious Purpose he became the king of the multiverse .
This theme slaps so hard it’s insane, it’s everything the Green Theme was but so much more epic with all the TVA motifs added in, love it
Nathalie Nolt .... the person on this music deserve a EMMY or Award damn i got chills every time i listen to ....wonderful !!!
Thor and Odin will never know what he did, they would be proud of him❤
This loki variant got the same speech from stark in the tower.
“There’s no throne, there is no version of this where you come out on top”.
Sure he got defeated in New York but in the end he got his throne with no one to kneel before him.
He's our new type of man. One who sacrifices. Reject sigma. Become Lokian
The Savior is here❤❤❤❤god of multiverse what a goosebumps ❤
That look he gives is so sad yet hes smiling 😢. It made me tear up man.
Very very love it ❤💚
Just remember once king Odin said to Thor & Loki
- "Both of you were born to become Kings"
And the finale hits differently ❇️🥵
He bacame the God of multiverse/Time.
This Loki got what both versions long wanted but now he’ll have to be alone for all time
this song makes me cry for loki 😭😭😭
Don't be sad for him he now everywhere connected to everyone who live in time now he know every secret about everyone
He will sit on throne forever but
He can travel everywhere
Odin was not wrong when he picked you up from the ground about to die because he knew that you were destined for a glorious purpose: to take care of the lines of time and protect the multiverse.
The most interesting thing is that if you listen closely, you can hear “Professor Timely” at the end. Something tells me this isn't a coincidence.
For all time always.❤❤
How it feels to be the guy orchestrating all the drama in the friend group:
I love how the Green Theme and the TVA theme are mixed. Loki's still Loki, but he's also the TVA, the Multiverse, everything. And we can go further, the TVA theme is similar to the HWR one, we can easely bet that Loki become HWR (obviously).
GLORIOUS PURPOSE 😎
Literally the best music in the whole show
One of the only Marvel stories that kept me invested in the franchise. For all time, always, Loki.
Spent literal centuries to try to save his friends. 😢
I say he is the god of the gods now. He literally hold everything in his hands. It’s sad though😢
wow what a way to end the series they nailed it.
He is Loki of Asgard, and he was burdened with glorious purpose
Ah man as soon as those drums come in I knew shit was getting real for the MCU, those sad but triumphant piano-synth notes that feel like they’re leading us down the long and lonely path he’s travelled..
and to hear Loki’s brass theme play very very quietly before the bass hits is just *a chefs kiss* because if music is how we decorate time, Loki must be “ahead of the music”
Thank you Natalie Holt for making the greatest soundtrack to a hero/villain after the imperial march (yes I said it, listen to this song again if you have to lol) and I can’t wait to hear what she has in store for the future but this theme will ALWAYS have a special place in my heart
his glorious purpose was always to rule, but he could only fulfill that role once he realized that it's not what he truly wants, because what makes a Loki a Loki is that they always lose. even if they've won.
If the soundtrack to the show ever release, I can see this song being titled as “The Burdens We Choose” or “Glorious Purpose”
Until someone else takes his place. Loki will be he who remains.
Makes you wonder how many times He Who Remains and Loki have switched places at the end of time.
If only Thor and Odin could see him now. He has ultimate power far beyond anyone we've ever seen but uses it for good
And now loki has solidified his place as my fav marvel char next to thor and my absolute favorite from the mcu.
Our prime bad boy, grown up, and sacrificed his happiness for ones he loves so much. Awesome stuff.
Best MCU series by far, best Marvel moment since Endgame and No Way Home
And Loki became the most powerful in MCU...
Nobody even expected that. This story is a masterpiece
around 0:27 "let time pass" Morbius whisper .
LOKI still care about his friends .
I want this song on spotify now
It already is
Loki is carring the MCU in his back so fucking hard
0:43 sing along to the music "Lonely, I am so lonely, I have nobody for my own." If this was done intentionally by Natalie Holt then she is an absolute genius as this perfectly explains Loki's character arc
He Who Remains: "you always lost" no more Kang! The God of Stories win in the end! And he saved the timelines
"No more Kang"
Avengers : The *Kang* Dynasty : Yeah buddy... Sure...
@@RoroShrek no more was meant as never again, "never again will Loki lose Kang!"
For you, for all of us💚
The music is so unbelievably good. 😢
Probably not the type of throne anyone would really want, but still 😅
This music is very awesome
The moment Loki least wanted a throne and wanted actual relationship and friends is when he gets the biggest throne of them all. A perfect ending to his character. WHAT A SHOW
The best character in marvel
For you
For all of us
Interesting thing is the god of story's that he has become he can see every universe every thing that is happening he can even see his brother and his friends and what there upto.
