This game is NOT my thing, but an Emily review deffo is!
I'm so jealous of your editing skills! please keeping making stuff
Haha thanks! I'm jealous of your ability to make games!! Let's both keep making fun things :)
Really fun, breezy, well-edited review. Turing Machine looks like my worst nightmare but at least i know that now.
Search for Planet X is in a similar category of "sitting in silence doing a puzzle with your friends" - not my idea of fun but each to their own
Thanks! Glad it could help 😊 Definitely a polarising type of genre, absolutely avoid if it's not your thing haha
Great review, and I'm glad to see you're still uploading! I've had my eye on this one since it was announced, but other videos didn't really hype me up for it. Your run-through of the rules is the best one I've seen yet, even better that SUSD's preview.
Such a fun review! So glad to hear you enjoyed Turing Machine!
Aww, thank you!
Games? I like those!
Woah, me too!
thanks, this sounds like my kind of peanut butter
Something seems different in this video but I can’t put my finger on it…
Oh well! This was great and this looks like a game I’d be super confident running into and then feel like an idiot after.
Where did your videos go? Not to be rude or anything, I just really would have liked to see them.
Hey! Sorry, I made all videos from before I transitioned private because they made me uncomfortable. I'll have more over on Shut Up & Sit Down very soon, though :)
Are you a fan of the puzzle games by ThinkFun or Smart Games IQ?
How does this compare in solo mode?
I've never played any Smart Games IQ puzzles, but I really like Laser Maze and Rush Hour from ThinkFun!
Those puzzles really shine in their tactility and freedom for trial and error. All of the information is available to you and you have to find the solution.
Turing Machine is more about making a deduction, gathering as much information in as few questions as you can. Less about just finding the solution and more about maximising the efficiency of getting it. (I like them all!)
I'm curious, have you played The Search for Planet X? And if so, what did you think of it? They're both games I'm looking at as a brain-bender puzzle game
Hey Pippa! Sorry, I can't say I have :/ I've had a look for you, and there's a great written review on BoardGameGeek by Chris G which compares the two! (It's currently under 'Hot Reviews' on the Turing Machine page). Hope that helps 😊
@@EmilyandThings Oh dang, the extra step. Thanks!
@@pippajohnston1810 No problem at all 😊 good luck with your decision!
Keep. Making. Videos.
Weekly / 5 monthly is fine.
this card game sounds really punchy!
Love it 💜 haha
