I'm cleaning every couple of years. Also, I apply rust protection at the same time - here is my other vid from couple of years ago: ua-cam.com/video/Zxomgs1-2VM/v-deo.html
Hello Hummer Channel ---Going to do new leaf springs... Was it enough room to get front bolt of rear driver side leaf out with gas tank shield removed ???? Thanks for any help :)
Just did this last week. Yes, removing skid plate gives access to the leaf spring bolt. The fuel tank has an indent there that gives enough room to easily get a tool onto the bolt head.

Очень полезное видео! Грязи много скапливается там. Надо у себя тоже снять и почистить

Do you know if removing the skid plate off of the tank is enough to get the rear leaf spring bolt out? Thanks for posting the vid.
Not 100% sure - but should give you a bit more space for sure.

Do you happen to know the bolt size on the back outside location?
I'll have to check it out
Did you just remove it to clean things up? Are you going to put it back on?
Correct. I had to clean it after off-road season and put back. You can search video on my channel how to install it if interested.
Sorry, never did it - not sure
