Thank you so much. Just like many of his cousins, our Henry was a little bit ill. With your help, I was able to perform the magic surgery. Henry lost a bit of his brain but now goes full power all of the time. Just what we need. Very helpful video.
The default setting would be Hi. The hi/ lo switch did not exist on older Henry models and was only added on due to EU regulations on emissions/ efficiency.

All these years that Henry has been in business, they can't fix the PCB or high-low switch. I have had 3 Henrys that have all packed up because of the switch, it's ridiculous. Going to stay well clear of them in the future and I wouldn't advise anyone to get one till these faults have been fixed. My Mother-in-law had a Henry many years ago in the early 1980s and it is still going strong with not one fault in all the years, but these newer Henrys are just plastic rubbish and a waste of money.

Where do you buy the white cable? And could you not replace the white cable straight from beginning other than taking all them out?
What is the black grey thing called going around blue brown cable some thing to do with noise or power disruption
It is just a holder.
Can we change simple rocker switch ?
But will the hover be on low mode or high mode
On high
Perfect it’s a done deal will be done today finger crossed Henry will be alive again
My Henry does not work and the light of the Hi switch is not lighting up. Do you know if in this case the PCB is faulty or the Hi switch?
I had same problem would start and go off, the high switch didn't light, so I removed the pcb, put all back and works fine
@@smkahn Thank you for your information. 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
Yep. Faulty PCB. Do as in video

Now that he has removed the pcb, Henry will now run at his full 1200w

@@reviewsfixeshacksmunsur3805 I would buy another pcb, but to make it last longer I would take it out once a year and clean the carbon dust off it

My Hi Lo switch wasn't working and this fix has sorted it out. Cheers lad🫡
I’m glad it’s helped so many people. Many would have scrapped an otherwise perfectly good vacuum cleaner.
