a few years ago, back in 2019, I was sat at a bar in Cambridge. Well, not a bar, it's called Thirsty for those who know. Anyway I was researching my masters and thinking of where to apply and then was just dreaming about going to Nepal (I had bought a 1 way ticket to Nepal for 2020, it was a graduation present for myself and we all know how that could have ended...) and was just feeling really happy. I was listening to Trevor and listening to this song on repeat and then this guy came up to me, his name was Ray. Ray worked with the Mukosi school in Zimbabwe and I think he said his brother did the web design for it. We got talking about life and the work he's done there and then he told me he sees something in me, he said he sees a bright future for me and he just sensed the my aura was a bright one destined to do big things. He bought me a drink and then left, not being weird or creepy or anything.
Any time I am feeling sad or demotivated or hear this song I think of how Ray was my Wish Man and I can't help but feel overwhelmed.
I'm in the streets of new Orleans not far from French qtr. Playing this with the windows down. I hope he hears it! I do!

Trevor is such a good story teller in song and in talking. I like his live performances for this reason, he usually tells an origin story before he plays and I enjoy that just as much as the music.
