I did not know Anna played this etude in the Chopin competition. Very well played, still don't know how she didnt advance past the 2nd round.
Doesnt matter since she’s an established pianist by now
@@adrianopiano5551 absolutely. Especially with her 30M watched Rachmaninov’s 2nd PC rendition
Because the winnings are decided in advance 🤷♂
@@debussy843 what?!
My professor used to scream at students who would approach the piano with rings on-for many reasons. Despite wearing a ring she gave an incredible performance!
Not a Zimmerman fan?
wait, why? 😂
First of all you risk scratching the piano, and second of all any kind of restriction or constriction or weight on your fingers can’t be good for performance
Same my teacher doesn't let me even wear a hair tie
Anna Fedorova, Zimmerman, Alice Sara Ott... many good pianists wear rings
And all these notes and feelings are written on some few pages of papers, no computers needed. I'm afraid that in some few years, the next generation will not understand how it's possible. We must thanks all those who work to keep what's beautiful sometime in our humanity, through their talent.
my favorite etude
Especially the lento B Major section, it’s beautiful
Yes i really love it
Merci pour ce beau moment.
Anna sweetheart you melted my heart 💜 You did amazing- very proud moment for Chopins work - This ❤Etude is remarkable
Like everything else I've heard you play, Anna, it's just SUPERB. WHY didn't you WIN? NO ONE played any better, I assure you.
Jury had other opinions
Sir Fryderyk Chopin is the pride of Poland! The whole country is very proud of him! 🇵🇱
...creio que o próprio Chopin ficaria admirado com o desempenho, com a sensibilidade dela! ...
Such a remarkable rendition of this tricky and difficult etude requiring large stretches of the hand/fingers.
I love it, but no one in my house understands it
this was meant to be hard to play (etude) not in the fisst place something beautiful to listen to. I trhink.
Same observation. It takes time and allowing oneself to be vulnerable to the emotions to truly "understand" classical music repertoire
Bring out the top and inner voices of those octaves to get the tune! Make them here the tune buried in there and they’ll get it
It's ok I understand this very well!!! Flawless
Her transition to the second section is amazing
Elle est incroyable !!
I love this song

she is extremely beautiful just like that middle section
I had to say that twice too while she was playing as well. She is very beautiful, extremely so, and it matters these days for pianists unlike before where they were so rare.
Well done!
😮👍
Octave Etude chopin
My mind:doomsday
❤
can anyone tell me if the internal notes are kept or not?
Good question, we'll never know. At that level, they can trim some without anyone noticing especially when 4 fingers are playing the same note in different octaves at the same time, harmonics will fill in. That is actually a very good question for several Chopin etudes where it can be done and is probably done. Op 25 no 1 is another example of internal notes that are doubled by the left hand which will cover easily.
I think the middle section tempo is too fast, making it sound too casual. Also some of the phrasing is lacking imagination, but her finale was beautiful in sound and bravura clarity.
Poor lady or girl,
She looked kinda nervous
Probably just really focused. I dont think shed be nervous, she's done a lot of concerts.
@@Surr3alll I mean... it was her first stage right??
@@pri_kristel thats what it says, but i dont know why. Shes been performing since 2006.
