Trust me I messed up several….requires lots of practice….it even more difficult with a camera in front your vision….didn’t I would be able to get this far on camera…. I hope I don’t have do this to all my figures…. Thanks again for watching
Great tutorial! I avoided figures with side eyes like this because its limiting the playability & posing options. Now I'm tempted to try this because I still didn't have Batgirl in my collection & wanted one.
Def a great and much needed video for the community . I also love the music on this one a lot ! thanks inkdrop for this one . I was bothered a bit w/ this one and also the kick ass almost classic Aquaman we are getting to add to our Justice League shelf that suffers from the exact same thing as if batwoman is supposed to be all the way on the other side and he is on the end . haha . I am working on something myself i'm gonna send you some pics and the basis soon to your email from the Return of the Supermen Run . Thanks again for this video
I find the main issue people have with side eye is it really limits display options, which is weird as Todd is big on the displayability of his "figures", but then he doesn't get why people want to be able to pose their figures themselves as opposed to them being pre-posed etc; It's fine when there are multiple options of heads but to do it and have just the one head? This here is a big improvement.
hi ink.. i am just wondering because i buy a custom head sculpt w(without a paint) what should i do first? should i put a primer first before the actual acrylic? thank you!
Eyes are difficult to paint with a camera in the view… have you tried it? It’s a tutorial you can certainly use stinger magnifying lenses getting a cleaner look. But are you going to have a figure at 2 inches from you or on a shelf? Most cases you cannot see the eyes., Thanks for watching
I hate painting eyes. I always mess one of them up. I hate the side eyes McFarlane is giving these figures too.

So much better than what mcfarlane toys did... I think that the forward looking eyes adds to the appeal of this figure. Great job as always 👍👌
Yeah it’s a whole different figure…I like that much more now….
Excellent tutorial

👏 Bravo. Its sad we have to do this if we want a figure to look straight at us. Lol
Hopefully they fix this in the future, not really something I want to repaint

hi ink.. i am just wondering because i buy a custom head sculpt w(without a paint) what should i do first? should i put a primer first before the actual acrylic? thank you!
A primer helps paint stick better to the surface…. Grey, white or black…
Just depends what you like… sometimes I use matte clear coat as a primer
have tou ever tried eye decals? seem very difficult to aply
I did-- they are too small to cut… you still have to remove the original print…
The ones I got were poorly printed… I may order another set …
@@InkDropCustoms maybe just glue them , then just paint around the left over from cuttig them?Good luck
Ahora si es una figura, a veces pareciera que mcfarlane piensa que son estatuas con articulación, muchas gracias por hacer el video, ¡saludos!

Un detalle que espero que cambie en fábrica
this is the most difficult part of action figure painting ...
It certainly is, without the right tools

I don’t mind the side eye, gives it character.
Yes, I believe that’s why they did that. But most prefer the straight on look for general purpose. I bought 2 only corrected this on for the video.

You painted the eyes worst than having side eyes 🤦🏻♂️
