Hi mate, does this printer have a blade in the lid to tear off the paper straight?
Mine doesn't seem to have a blade and tears off terribly and jagged.

No, I dont think so. I have only ever used this printer with precut labels so never had a need for a cutter. Most of these label printers dont have a cutter including Zebra, etc.
