Start of the post scene. tippy top of the little era of bangerz and dope albums. Soo much good hip hop music came out of our country in this 15 year window all trying ro outdo each other same course same cause its over now
Fuckin excited for what aussie hip hop develops into over the next decade. damn good time to be getting into this shit, can't understand why this only has 71,000 views
Interesting touch in the way the people have been used to create a psychedelic 60's visual feel. I found myself being drawn into the vortex and had to keep pulling myself back from the screen. (No, I did not do heaps of drugs in the 60's or 70's for those haters out there.)
@elfuserone like a said, aussie hip hop, it isnt influenced by international music. hip hop doesnt have to be contained into a specific life style/ culture that your on about, you just dont get it, hip hop is expression, and that is what spit syndicate do greatly. and it frustrates me when people like you comment on these videos bringing down their music, you dont like it??? dont watch it
@elfuserone mate this is australia, these artists dont rap about cars, girls, and money.. they rap from the heart something american hip hop has lost.. oh and btw, this is hip hop, not rap :)
@j1mism yeh agreed man has such a dope story to it that lends itself to a sick vid bit dissapointed but can't complain when the song and album are this fucking good!
@MuttDogMendoza I am not sure - what point your trying to make? But I can relate to this song, I have seen this story played out in real life, 'not everything that glitters is gold' - how is that talking shit?
@sconroy123 You given anything else a listen? There has been a few decent CD's that have graced the scene this year? I mean, yes, Great music. Mantra - power of the spoken?, Bliss N Eso - Running on Air? I mean, saying this is the best CD is very biased at best. I love Aussie Hip Hop. But listen to all of it before you make claims such as that. It leads to people starting arguments
Aussies, have a flavour & style that is unique to Australia. Aussies don't, take shit, talk shit or need to pose like some other so called Artists, out there! And that's the point of this post, it might have started overseas, but Aussies have this 'Art Down Pat'!
So you want every rapper to wear the same things? To talk about the same consumerism crap as everyone else? It loses meaning when this happens. No one would be original. No one is asking you to like this type of music so don't try to change it for you. I love this music too much.
@MuttDogMendoza Well, we are getting to the core of the issue now, I can only vouch for the Aussie artists on my playlists, YES others may talk shit, 'such is life'! I support the artists that I like (Aussies+ rest of World) putting women down also annoys me, I won't support that crap either! That feedback was a generalised comment, most Aussie hip hop & rap artists would fall into that catergory, I grew up on gangsta rap! Prefer they kick-it clean these days- is that clearer?
this is a quality tune but think the video really didnt work :( fuck it though - this is better than the generic junk commercially shite we get bombarded with... im thinkin 50 cent and souljaboy...
This would've been much more effective if you knew how to use a comma. It was hilariously distracting. When you have no idea how to use a comma it's best to just stick to letters and words.
Still one of the best Aussie hip hop tunes and one of the best film clips

y don't you 2 tough guys just listen to the music and stop fighting, peace.
I think i don't give a shit about labels and just enjoy the music for what it is.

@MuttDogMendoza I am not sure - what point your trying to make?
But I can relate to this song, I have seen this story played out in real life, 'not everything that glitters is gold' - how is that talking shit?

I think Spit Syndicate have done really well for themselves at obese but who thinks they belong at elefant traks with horrorshow?
