Some people just have a hard time with these things and are stubborn and hold grudges. Even if she is, you can tell she's at least trying. Plus this is just a super awkward thing to do after a friend breakup and years of not speaking
Most friendship breakups are like not riding a bike for years. When you try it again later on, it’s wobbly, there’s anxiety and nerves at first but, once you just stop focusing on the awkwardness and have that first laugh, it all comes back to you, and it’s like time hasn’t pasted. I’m hopeful for your friendship to rekindle in some aspect. Those belly laughs are real. ❤️
