Let's be honest the Chiron engine has pushed all limits that they need space age technology to even get to 300mph... La Voiture Noire is not just a bodykit, it's a tribute. If you understand the story and understand what the Original Atlantic meant to Bugattis history, then you will understand what La Voiture Noire means in today's age. Da Vinci didn't make the Mona Lisa to imitate or "Put a bodykit" on self portraits. Rembrandt didn't make sculptures to put a Luxury bodykit on other sculptures/Art pieces. Where else are you going to see a car that looks like La Voiture Noire

Tbh is not a bodykit, the chassis has been elongated, the transmission have to be reworked to the extra lengh, suspension had to be changed due to extra weight, the shaft is completely new. So it only used the engine of the chiron and some more mechanical parts like brakes etc. The rest is all new.

I was in Geneva and laid on the ground to look beneath...there were several supports holding in place for instance the exhaust system and some parts of the front suspension....didn't look like an actual working car at all, for sure it was not sitting on it's wheels. The tyres too looked phony, more like made of plastic rather than rubber. Strange no other journalist noticed this.
