@@henryquispe1701 I would say remove the diode as it's just reverse polarity protection. And connect relays NO and common pin with AC as switch to the transformer. In that case it would easily handle 40A or more But LEDs won't work. So don't connect them either.
As soon as it is turned on, one LED will burn. When the voltage reaches the limit, it will burn the other one. The circuit current is limited by the 1n5408 diode. If the missing resistor is added, the scheme will be ok

Horrible, horrible circuit. Your schematic leaves out the base resistor for the transistor. Without it, the pot cannot be adjusted to anything greater than about 0.7 volts, and if you turn up the pot at all you will destroy the transistor. The LEDs are the type that contain an integrated resistor so they are normally running on 12 volts. The "charge" and "full" labels are on the wrong LEDs, and they may be connected to the wrong relay pins. The charge current is set by the current limit of the DC input supply. Use a supply with too much current and you'll damage/destroy the battery. Like I say, a horrible circuit, and you should be ashamed of yourself.
Agree , the schematic is wrong . Looking at the actual build in the video there is a 15K ( or 1.5K ? ) resistor connected between the variable resistor and the + 14 volt input . The relay appears to be labelled correctly but the LED's are not . The anode of the green LED is connected to the normally open contact on the relay and the anode of the red LED connected to the normally closed contact as is the output diode 2n5408. Note in the video he adjusted the 10K pot so that the red LED just turns off ( full ) and the green LED turns on ( charge ) , yet when the battery was connected the red LED came on during the charging cycle. 2 hours later the red LED turned off and the green LED came on indicating full charge ?
Your assembled Circuit differs from the schematic. In the schematic there is no resistor at the LEDs junction.

Yes, because relay max input is 12v broh. If want to high volt input, you must change relay.
