It's annoying when people say that they should go different ways while just a short time ago they used to say " how lucky ","what a loving husband " and what not....cool down people it's their marriage even though they both are immature as fidst time partners of marriage they will learn with time and grow. it's hard enough for couples who are close in age to work in a marriage, what more two people with a big age gap. It's not impossible, it's just a lot more challenging, in my opinion. It's one thing to actively take part in the conversation and then have to take phone calls or answer messages, but he acknowledged them, listened and smiled for like 5 seconds, and then grabbed his phone and never looked up. Answer your questions, take your calls, but you made a commitment to be here and actively participate and that should be your priority; spending time with your family. I hope to GOD he doesn't do this all the time, because this will ruin their marriage. This has ruined friendships for me because they will ask to hangout and then will spend the majority of that time on their phones.

And during that half of the time he would be making phone calls.. it's so annoying but it's work... it's hard enough for couples who are close in age to work in a marriage, what more two people with a big age gap. It's not impossible, it's just a lot more challenging, in my opinion. Add to the fact that they live their private life on TV, with the public constantly giving their two cents (like what I'm doing now 😅) about their marriage, I can't even begin to imagine the pressure.

It's rude. It's one thing to actively take part in the conversation and then have to take phone calls or answer messages, but he acknowledged them, listened and smiled for like 5 seconds, and then grabbed his phone and never looked up. Answer your questions, take your calls, but you made a commitment to be here and actively participate and that should be your priority; spending time with your family.
I hope to GOD he doesn't do this all the time, because this will ruin their marriage. This has ruined friendships for me because they will ask to hangout and then will spend the majority of that time on their phones.

Not to mention, like you said, he is a CEO, so he is used to negotiating and speaking to people much older than him. That's not an excuse, especially when they are all adults.
And like I said before/implied, I understand that in demanding jobs you are going to receive a lot of messages and calls and some of them you HAVE to take, but the entire time? You set aside time for your family, in that moment they should be your priority. And while you are at it, at least try to include yourself in the conversation. That's all.
