I met Jane at a scifi con last year. She was so down to earth.. it was like talking with an old friend more than anything else. She's much smarter than you would expect. Possibly genius level intellect. And very kind. She does all her own tweets and she does respond directly to fans.
actually , from anything i've ever seen of her ,would lead me to expect every bit of a super sharp person , and it doesn't suprise me that she likes scifi, again, i'd almost expect it
@@catluciano6909 Are you kidding? You are not alone in your admiration for Jane, by a long shot. Many, many Go-Go's fans, have her as their favorite, including myself. Jane is such a babe.
Belinda may've had the most successful solo career afterwards, but I still enjoy Jane's work the most, and have any of the other Go-Go's been in Clue, Bill & Ted, *and* landed a cameo in a Star Trek movie? I don't think so.
The Go Gos put together great songs and play them well. But I think what I find most charming about them is that are not just another chick band with guitars acting like guys. They are for real women and it makes their performances distinct.
These women have SO MUCH unresolved tension between them. Maybe it's just due to Belinda's success. It is nice to see the moments of joy between them though.
These women fairly and squarely give the proverbial bird to modern feminism which claims that women are powerless and oppressed - these women are hugely talented, worked very hard and got the recognition they deserved.

The original Grand Funk Railroad isn't in the Rock N' Roll Hall of Fame yet. The Go-Go's should be in there too. But the Rock N' Roll Hall of Fame is pretty much a joke at this point.
@@rpont953 You're right about one thing - The Rock N' Roll Hall of Fame is a joke. They let in rappers and country western bands and Madonna in! The Go-Go's earned the right to be inducted. So did Tina Turner! Females or not!
Jane and Kathy...I can't decide between the two. Belinda? yeah, she's the one all the guys is supposed to like but screw it, I think Jane and Kathy are hotter and less likely to be uppity.

What I got from this Go-go's video. From the fans - it's a band made of women and it's great because of that. Interviews in liberal NYC by feminists or lesbians. They did get a few guys on camera to say Belinda is hot - yes, we are such pigs to say that. The Gogo's- It's hard to break into the music business now because men control the industry and they are bad. I hope all the band members don't share that view, but then again, the band is from California so I won't get my hopes up. The divisiveness is super annoying. Yet in spite of how bad men have always been, women still achieve success in the music industry. And some women don't even mention how bad men are. They must be traitors to their sex not to call them out. What a world.

Kathy has stood the test of time. She is the best instrumentalist and now also the best looking.
So cool to see this, they look amazing!
I still love how everyone else is showing up in all black and Jane's there with the neon.
Brightening up the place!
That's right god bless the go-gos!!
They all look amazing.....especially Kathy. WOW!
This was a great comeback concert, interesting to see behind the scenes.
The Go Gos were and will always be "the bomb" of pop/rock........They will always live on!!!!!!!!!!!!!
This show is older than the original gap between eras, always weird to think of it that way.
The greatest girl band ever and no girl band even comes close to the Go-Go's.
Bangles were good too.

_Rolling Stone_ was TERRIBLE to The Go-Go's. So much for being a 'counter-culture' mag.
I always fancied Jane. Love her pixie hair. She looks super-cool in those trowsers too.
They did in fact become much much better musicians. They sound great in this concert.
Hall of Fame induction! Overdue, but completely deserved.
Jane is the heart of the GOGOs she is the most amazing woman there she is so beautiful too
Cat Luciano Agreed... Jane has always been my favorite. She's the personality.

Kathy Valentine ! A rock Godess ! OMG
Why isn't Gina Schock ever mentioned as a top notch drummer? So underated.
I agree✌
Yep, fun to watch
She's great. I like the way she counts herself in... very thorough
I think beat drummers are often overlooked, but musicians appreciate that drummer who’s always in the pocket.
couldn't agree more.
They ALL made the band, a bunch of genuine rocker chic's, lets hope they tour until we are all into our...'80's!!'
Glad Kathy is back in the band and the ladies have made amends.
Imagine the 1992 album they might have made?

3 months after this, the world changed forever
It's so unique their sound.
Gina Schock is such a doll
Walking out on stage to Henry Mancini's Baby Elephant Walk is so clever as they are all tiny and still kids at heart.
I actually liked watching them ride together. It's cool.

drummers always been hottt,,,,,,,,
I'm actually surprised they didn't have a "warm up" room with a full kit, amps, and vocals, to play a few songs and get ready to hit the stage.
They were probably very well-rehearsed. Also, they're pros.

The frontwoman usually gets the most attention. She kind of takes charge and talks to the audience.
You know she’s very High Maintenance and Demanding. I read her bio.
She may be, but I still prefer Jane. Always.
