It's railway is around 20 km and only portions are underground so technically not s fully underground or subway. But once the Metro Manila Subway will be finished and completed in 2028 or 2029, it will be the first fully underground Subway from end to end in SEA.

The Cost of Prices in Urban Centres are little bit Higher but when you started travelling Into the provinces it is cheaper try visit Subicbay and Bataan where there used to be a Vietnamese Refugee centre now Eco Zones 🎉❤❤❤

Hi as a Filipino it's really nice that most comments here are positive and show an enlightened understanding. I know our Philippines is not perfect and far from being fully developed but you Viet people can see beyond the flaws. I may have read bad comments from other Vietnamese in other videos but here I think the smart people gathered. It's a totally different case each time I visit a video that's dominated by Thai or Indonesian viewers, sadly. They insult the Philippines even if the video shows positive sides. Malaysians may have issues with the Filipinos but they don't often show that much aggression online and manage to keep civil more recently, which means civil relations online between us is healing. Even if it shows negative sides like poverty, people of any race should refrain from making fun of the poor.

Metro Manila is 20x better than Saigon of Vietnam. Metro Manila has 4 Lines of Metro trains that they are using since the year 2000 and they are currently building the first fully underground Subway in Southeast Asia as well as new airports, and extension lines
This area is just Makati, but Metro Manila has 36 business districts that looks like this 😅😂 Go to Ortigas, BGC, ASEANA, MOA Complex, Filinvest City, Eastwood, Arcovia City, Quezon triangle, Rockwell, etc.. The development of the whole Saigon is only equivalent to 1 business district in Metro Manila.
There are poor areas in Metro Manila but its only concentrated in some places like TONDO, PAYATAS, QUIAPO, which is historically part of migrant migrations from the ethnics living in Philippine provinces, and vloggers loves to do vlogging there because it can easily attract viewers. 😂

Vietnam has 3 metro: 2 in Hanoi and 1 in Saigon. The one in Saigon is fully underground.

Capitals or centers of each provinces usually are first class cities and some are highly urbanized cities but we just love a laid-back province life different from the hustle bustle of the city life to de-stress and unwind that's why we have provinces that are not so much touched by modernity. We just want to preserve the old for the next generation to experience.

You say, that PH. has a large poverty rate, that's bcoz people from the provinces go to the cities to look for work. And poor Filipinos they don't care if they have so many children and can't even care and provide for them. In fact, our daily minimum wage is higher than other SouthEast Asian countries. Food and house rents are expensive than India, Thailand and others. Filipinos are tech savvy and are hired by Microsoft, also with India. Most Filipinos work from home independently as virtual assistants to foreigners. abroad. IT profs are employed in Europe esp. in Germany where there's so many of them in Berlin. Also they're employed by car manufacturers as vehicles now are digitalized. In Thailand it's our minimum is already their middle income., they only have one child. Two children is too much for them. But here in our country, there's no population control. But you see Filipinos are survivors and resilient. Wherever they work and how far the place is, they can easily adapt n survive.
METRO MANILA is 50 years ahead to vietnamese city of saigon. METRO MANILA has an economy of $225billions as of 2024 while saigon only has $67billions and METRO MANILA has 230+ skyscrapers rank top10 in the world while vietnam only has 40skyscrapers very few and most of transportation are motors while in Philippines are cars and bus.
