Good deal 👌🏻 Hope these videos help make your decision a little easier. I'm excited to get it all done and really cover the drivability and noise, which, other than all the tunnel work, seems to be the biggest concern for the majority of people interested in this swap.
Yes, this is the InlinePro Kit. I bought the transmission brand new from the dealership, and it is the latest part number, which is an internal slave. Go check out my other videos, and I explain everything else. Thanks for watching 👍🏻👍🏻
I would prefer an external slave cylinder for the exact same reason, as you said, in case of failure. However, the external swap is not cheap, and I bought a new transmission, and it comes with a new OEM internal slave cyl that works perfectly with a single disk ILP kit. So, for the time being, that's what I'm running. Really, it just has to outlive the single disk, and then I will be moving into a twin disk.
@Peter Yang the driveshaft was custom-made by a driveshaft shop local to the guy about the kit from. I would suggest finding a local driveshaft shop. Or if you do decide to order the kit through inlinepro, they do offer drive shaft options.
Awesome info! I’m looking to do this soon as well

Awesome info! What is the part number for the transmission?
Are you using the inline pro kit? Also where’d you purchase your transmission at? Internal slave or external model thank you

Is the internal slave cylinder better than the external? Seems like if the interal go bad u got to take off tranny again compare to external?
