Beautiful and interesting work of art! Thanks for sharing your intriguing process.
Well, that's amazing. Kind of an abstract portraiture. I stumbled across another person on YT that does it too, though it looks nothing like yours, of course. There's so few fields in painting that someone hasn't 'invented' so to speak, so when one comes along and it hasn't been fully invested in, talent-wise, it feels like its moment is ready. The crux that there is just so many painters now- you don't get the 'master's' like you did before modernity. Great piece, btw.
Absolutely spectacular creations! ❤
Hola Mario Enrique me tomaria un cafe contigo mirando tu arte!

Quelle œuvre et quel talent ! Magnifique .. quel plaisir de regarder ces portraits et ces regards qui apparaissent petit à petit 🤩🙏
Merci beaucoup!
Very nice. I think I'll be "borrowing" from your approach. Some might call it stealing. Let's split the difference and call it inspiration!
All art is theft. So take what you want, have fun and be successful. That's payment enough for me 👍
@@MarioHenriqueArt as I recall, good artists borrow, and great artists steal! I had a teacher (Frank Neufeld, great guy) who used to say "make it your own".
@@MarioHenriqueArtI sleep in peace now.
Je ne me lasses pas de regarder cette vidéo..

Im a newbie in acrylics. Abstract andvits not easy. I love your style. I love the music that goes with your pace of painting. It even seems to go with what you create. Hell, i even love your signature.
And I love you for saying such nice things! Thank you ;)
I wish that I could paint in this abstract method.
so nice gerat.
Nice❤

Waouh
Were you frome?I do. Some think like that but your technical is awesome 👌
Huge fan of your work. How do you get the same sheen between the exposed acrylics and oils? Is it just a couple of coats of varnish at the end?
Thanks! Yes I do apply a couple of coats of glossy varnish once the pieces are finished 👍
👍
What material are you using for the face features
Just love your style. Is the paint you're using acrylic and the chalk you are using oil pastels? If so, what do you use to seal it and how do you apply it? Thanks!
Thanks! It's an oil stick, not pastel. I seal everything with the proper acrylic and oil spray varnish
Can you please tell me what you use as a material at 3 minutes (some kind of chalk, or black charcoal??) It seems to be cool to use. ;)
Sir, Mario. What's the type of material you used to paint on, is it the canvas that is sell at cloth store or something else
Unprimed cotton canvas, usually.
I don't get this :) It says "oil and acrylic" in the description.
Does that mean he mixes both oil and acrylic together?
Or applies them separately, at random??
I believe so. I’m guessing the bulk of the first few layers are acrylic. It then looks like he uses a black oil stick to further define the face. After that he goes over the painting again with oil paint. This is just a guess. I’d love to know if I’m close :)
You guessed right ;) acrylics for backgrounds, which dry faster, and oils for foreground (shadows, highlights and certain color accents). 👍
Thank you,
@MarioHenriqueArt and @sasculptorakkadian6862 ... :) This is VERY much appreciated! I just retired from the engineering field and was trying to get back to my first love, art and painting. Mario, your work captured me and has inspired me, and at 70 years old, I'm eager to try this :)
I looked at your videos and am hoping you might be able to post a longer step-by-step approach for your style for novices like me? Thank you for the wonderful work!
@@qawwalli That's great, I'm always happy to inspire :) I don't really like to do "tutorials" - it messes with my concentration, and that shows on the final piece. It's great that you're moved by my work, but you should find your own path and your own approach - the world doesn't need more Marios :D Have fun!
@@MarioHenriqueArt That makes sense, I understand :) these are true words, thank you ! I agree completely that I should develop my own personal style - what I'm trying to do is use some of the techniques that you do so well, but in a different way, and try to adapt them to the oil pastel style I just began to work with. Thank you again for the inspiration :)
