Another good episode of "Box 13" featuring Alan Ladd. It is mentioned in one of the comments below that Paul Frees was in this episode. For those not familiar with Paul Frees, and if interested, further research would show he was a multi-talented individual. In my further research on Alan Ladd, it was mentioned in writing that in the late 1930's he was employed in radio work by KFWB -Los Angeles for three years in announcing and acting.
I love these old radio shows. Simple and entertaining
CharlemagneXVII Thanks for tuning in. This is a particularly good episode as it features the great Paul Frees as well. Cheers!
Mr velvet voice, my favourite actor and the best looking.
I juste love the warm voice of Alan Ladd. He is my favorite actor
Yes, his did have that knock-out sonorous quality. Thanks for tuning in!

Ladd was pretty when a young man. Good story, and I heard it Years ago. I can happen but rarely that fast.

Frees, Conrad and Ladd were three of the greatest male voices in radio in the US.
