    Thought this was the best playoff block of all time. But then the Iggy block on game 7 just topped it.

      that iggy block is overrated he does that shit all the time. the only saving grace is that block is super clutch and important. this block is much more impressive physically.

    • @philgaerlan4853

      2 of 3 greatest blocks....I'd say Tayshaun's chase down on Reggie Miller is 2. But these things are all opinion based so you can choose for yourself. If you're a LeBron enthusiast, then yes LBJ has the 2 greatest of all time.

    • @philgaerlan4853
      @philgaerlan4853 8 років тому

      ramoozaAlmoomoo hahaha that's the big debate! Reggie was 38 years old, yeah he could still ball, but he was never that physical. I think it had been more than a year since he actually dunked the ball in game if I'm not mistaken. I'm a Laker fan and that year we had Malone and Payton. I still believe that if the Pacers had won that game, then the Pistons would not have advanced to the Finals to basically sweep us (5 games).

    Incredible block. I remember watching this live. Social media went CRAZY!! Haha. But seriously tho that block took incredible strength. Tiago had so much momentum behind that attempted dunk, while lebron simply jumped vertical. Also, he didn't "swipe" the ball, or just knock it away, he completely stopped the movement, and began to overpower it. Great block.

      LeBron's block on Iggy was better, because LeBron was in the paint ready for Splitter to dunk, while LeBron was sprinting as fast as he could to get to Iggy, and he had to almost get his head to the rim and block it. and the Splitter block was in garbage time in Game 2, while the Iggy block was tied in Game 7 with 1 minute left which led to a Kyrie Irving 3 pointer after the chasedown.

      Yeah u can tell it was different for him. If u watch him after he beat the Spurs in the finals that year he wasn't screaming at all. He like calmly walked over and hugged the Spurs and shit. But in Cleveland he just fell to the floor screaming and crying

      Get this, I was down on the court side seats during spurs/heat warmup (it was apart of this package deal but our seats were still mid-tier). Anyhow, during the warm up Tiago, Manu, Bonner and Belleni (sp) were out there and I didn't realize Tiago was as close to us but he over hears me telling my brother about this very block from the finals. So after a few laughs I look up and see Tiago giving me the most scolding stare down I have probably ever received in my life, i'm not going to lie, it was threatening. Anyhow, this block is still incredible but one of my all time favorites is DJ throwing down over Brandon Knight. Cracks me up every time.

    Its crazy once Tiago got the ball he looked strait at the net and was going to hammer that ball. I really don't think he even saw James there at the bottom of the net.
    Seriously good play by both of them Tiago good roll its just a BETTER block by James to find that ball in the air.
    Splitter had no Idea who was standing on his way. If he did he probably would of done something different.

      that *block* was so awesome...
      And you're wrong. Sure he looked cocky and shit but he came back into the offense, set a screen, got the ball (only movement the heat had on the play) and assisted Ray in the corner for a 3. Lebron was in the zone, plus it was a blowout.
