Either there's no microphones to amplifiy the audience's laughter or this audience is just weak. I just saw this very routine from Widdicombe live in Covent Garden this week. Was in hysterics! His voice is perfect for telling jokes!

From what i've seen on bbc3 all of the edinburgh crowds are crap. Two great acts Josh was hillarious, I was in creases.
