The best moments of this stream were definitely right before the alien was introduced and seeing IRyS try to guess when it's appear It's honestly the best moment of the game, cause you know it's coming, but the game uses that expectation to scare a lot before the real reveal

Thanks for the fun stream as always IRyS and I'm glad that you're able to play this game! You may have realized that it's really not that scary. It's more intense since you're literally caught in a cat and mouse game with the alien. The true joy of Alien Isolation is finding ways to outwit and escape the alien. I think you'll also enjoy the story, because it has a surprisingly decent plot and expands a bit more from the end of the classic movie.

As a side note, that quick change from the full gamer jacket to winter uniform always

Fun fact about that part at 2:35:20 : Thought the mystical process of 'fucking around and finding out', I have gained the knowledge that you can, in fact, physically encounter the Xenomorph and get gibbed by it right after it gets Axel at this point in the game.

Alien actually having two AI. One is bunch of senses and commands to interact with player and second one pretty straight forward it's telling Alien where the player, how accurate depends on difficulty, bcs of this on hard difficulty Alien is menacing.

Congrats on being the first Holomem to play Alien! Considering IRyS hasn't seen any of the Alien movies, she's taken a lot in stride from this space station full of sweet man-made horrors(and one eldritch space cockroach).
The human and android mobs tend to be pretty frustrating for first-time players. I REALLY hope IRyS continues through the next 2 missions,. They are pretty much gold at showing off how smart the bloody Alien can be.

Awesome stream IRyS, surprisingly I too never played this game so this was all a surprise to me, oh man that was fun, exciting, anxiety inducing and a bit hard at times(the joe's seemed a little too OP) but overall had lots of fun. I really love the aesthetics that Aliens has especially with their ship designs, I bet this game would've been a lot scarier if played in "isolation" lol. Thanks for the SC's reading those are always a fun time, it was fun learning about your outing, that delicious steak and just stuff in your daily life. The start was taking some time, you were really tense on the beginning but then you started improving and got used to the atmosphere of the game and the Xeno. This is definitely not an easy game but the fact you kept going for the normal difficulty made me feel proud of you ^^

I'm really happy to see you playing the game cause I really love the Alien franchise and this game is really special to me. Hope it motivates you to watch the movies and get to know more about the franchise just like Space Marine 2 interested you to get to know more about Warhammer 40k. People are exaggerating by saying that AI "learns" in this game but there is very interesting system that reacts to what you are doing(like the one in Left 4 Dead for example) and can punish you for overdoing certain things. I personally found Working Joes more disturbing during my playthrough cause they quite accurate depicts the A.I. bye they fact they are not "aware" so they don't know they are doing something "bad". That's when the are saying thins so out of place. Hope you will play more of this game and finish it, it's really worth it. Otsu!

The anxiety at being scared of the alien but it not appearing at all was felt even from watching you play! How you tried to guess it the whole time was pretty funny! I’m almost done completing this on Hard difficulty. I’ve known it for 10 years, since release day, and grew up with the old first four movies. But it took me a while to work up the courage to finally play this myself, and I come from survival horror video games like Half Life and Dead Space.
