Hey love! Im so glad you asked! Im happy to help! My friend @trendytaurus has a really neat video toning her 613 wig platinum blonde ua-cam.com/video/T3OL7T1SN0Q/v-deo.html
I have a tutorial for dark rooting your wig. This would be a good way to do a short root, but if you're going for a longer balayage type ombre then I would stick to the alcohol in a spray bottle method (from this original video). ua-cam.com/video/Hxe8CPKU7Gs/v-deo.html
To redo the wave pattern you can braid the unit up and boil it on the stove! This would also be an opportunity to Rit dye it. (I dont recommend boiling it unless you are prepared to lose the original wave patten). Here's a link to my Rit tutorial. ua-cam.com/video/gqfZ_rcwHhE/v-deo.html

@@carlavargas5796 youre welcome!
This didn’t work at all so I don’t kno what my wig is made of
A stupid wig company sent me a pink wig instead of black so I’m gonna try this
I love your channel name! 🤣🤣🥰🥰
Tiffkneebaby Tv lol
Hi tiff I tried your dying method & it worked, but after I rinsed out the hair till the water ran clear i then used the silicone mix & fabric softener and that particular step rinsed out all of my dye & put the wig almost back to its original color any other suggestions besides using the silicone mix & fabric softener please help
Dont soak it. Even in this video a lot of the color ran out. Increase your dye concentration and just rinse the unit, put on the silicon mix, rinse that immediately and let air dry.
@@TiffkneebabyTv ok thanks I've re did it twice & I had to add more of the umber color & it turned out better & all I did was rinse it with the cold water I didn't use the silcon mix & it still smells like the fabric softener & it kept the body & the curl pattern & it has lots of the body remains so thanks for all the advice 🥰👍👍❤
@@TiffkneebabyTv ok thanks and I finally got it to the color I like but even though I rinse it & let the water run clear the color is still coming out on my hands & on paper towel so I don't know what to do should I rinse it again without using the silicone mix or rinse it after using the silicone mix?
@@victoriamartin5528 the silicon mix is just for conditioning purposes. I would rinse it again in cold water only until the water runs clear and then let it air dry. Glad you got the color you wanted, sorry youre having color transfer issues!
Alcohol is hard to find right now , what would u recommend instead of it ?
Unfortunately nothing i know of is a good substitute
Hi, could i use Rit dye as well
On your real hair, no. But on synthetic yea!
I've tried this, how do you get it to stop fading onto surfaces? Shoulders, head rests, pillows? It marks everything
I didn't have that experience. I gave this one away to a viewer, but the other ones I've dyed didnt give me that issue. I rinsed and soaked them after dying until they ran clear. I do not sleep in my units either though. Hope that helps!
How long do you leave the wig in the silicone bath?
Around 5 minutes should be plenty! ❤
I ordered an outre wig and it looks a nice blonde in the picture came in super bleach blonde I’m tryna figure this out so it’s wearable lol
Amazing!
Does the alcohol make the hair dry out or become stiff? I have a curly wig I want to dye but not sure which method is best so that I don’t ruin the curls.
If you watch to the end all that is shown/answered 😘
your braids look beautiful on you!
Thanks love!! I have a few other units that look even more realistic!
I kinda wish it stayed the chocolate color. When it was wet I was like wow gorgeous... lol
How to style wig after dying
How much alcohol did you use in bottle please
Can I dye hair with dark synthetic hair
When dying synthetic you have to start lighter and take it darker. Unfortunately I dont know of any methods to take it from dark to light!
I didn’t know you could die synthetic wigs….I’m over joyed !!!!
Pretty cool huh! Thanks for watching!
