That doesn't make sense. The ice is what melts away. The Rhodes doesn't melt away, it melts you away, so it's the sun in this analogy, but only if you indicate we're the ice.
For me, it's priceless to hear the pure timbre of characteristic instruments like this one.
The digital age brought more possibilities, but took away the charm of the essence.
I still dream of having a channel with songs played with Hammond, Rhodes and Acoustic Piano only.

I have so many memories of this particular piano... my father used to play in a band and he had this exact 88-note fender rhodes mark II, rare at the time and still today, as it's not easy to find and you made me cry! They played this song and I was very young and I remember it well! He sometimes hooked up an ibanez dual chorus pedal and had it hooked up to a marshall tube head with a 4 speakers box underneath, which sounded fantastic! Thank you very much for your video, I became a fan of your channel! ❤

@@WorldPianoBar I have the Phase 95 which has a setting to do either 45/90 and Script/Block logo. The block logo 90 overdrives the Rhodes signal and adds too much fuzz. The Script is the way to go. Great playing.

Working in an old school in Central Washington state, I found this same piano, in a case, in an attic that had not been touched in probably 30 years. I wanted to buy it. Tried, Even went to the district president. They could not sell it because it was public property. They lost out, and I lost out, and it still sits up there til this day. :(
I always preferred the sound of a real acoustic piano (which I play)...the Rhodes was so iconic back in the day (70's) before all the modern synthesized keyboards came on the scene, this has a certain nostalgia about it that sounds so good. Kudos!
