Kevin Lenardo is a creator that makes content about topics you would learn about in a highschool well-being class, except the teacher speaks in really jarring statements with no warning whatsoever. This guy is pretty infamous for never having an intro jump scaring everyone on Tiktok. With the way its algorithm works you’ll be crying cause of a sad story about a dog - then all of a sudden someone is yelling grooming tips at you so you can be less gross. So what happened exactly did he upload onto youtube that got him 30 million views in 2 weeks? I got 3 words for you: Nair, Excel Spreadsheet. Hey kids, just a quick addendum to Kevin’s video: please grab the Nair cream that is specifically meant for the downstairs area if you’re doing this for the first time! Additionally, always do a patch test!
Yeah I really was expecting him to run around and yell about how it was burning like the amazon reviews for people using it on their balls. I mean that's not an area you want any of that cream to enter into. The guy was really too comfortable with gaping on the internet too.

Definitely patch test! Chemical burns can happen quickly and are no joke!
Also be careful when using it on inner thighs. The label tells you not to rub the product into the skin, but my thighs rub together a bit when I stand. Ended up getting a burn in that spot and ONLY that spot, since the rubbing was the same as "rubbing the product in"
I kept it moisturized with Vaseline and lotion and it felt much better a day later but it was pretty painful at first

@@phil6748 honestly it's not a rare sentiment among indonesians. we see the dutch as evil colonialists because they were truly shit to us and we were taught of their exploits since grade school, and even though the brits occupied us for a while they were seen as more favorable because most of the things the brits did was done in favor of the locals. indonesians also see its neighboring countries such as malaysia and singapore who were colonized by the british and think highly of them in that regard, praising how the brits taught them english, among other things. the brits weren't around long enough or had a big enough reach over indonesia the way the dutch did, so a lot of people aren't aware on how diabolical the british could get with their imperialism and colonization and thus wish we were fully occupied by them instead. many painted them as saviors, even though all the things they did for indonesia are probably done mostly in their own interest.
i genuinely thought the same once when i was like 11 but i learned more about colonialism and got better, i suppose. but a lot of people, even full on adults really think that we should've been invaded by this other colonizer instead of being never colonized at all lol

Honestly, as a professional body waxer, his content doesn't come across as shocking to me. I'm so used to knowing someone for all of two minutes before seeing *everything*, so all embarrasment regarding intimate hair removal is gone for me ¯\_(ツ)_/¯. As silly as this whole thing is, I’m actually really glad a sex-ed based channel went viral (even for a bad reason). He seems to make educational content that is really beneficial for young gay men, especially since we don’t have many elders we can ask due to the AIDS epidemic

That's understandable. On the other hand, you really shouldn't use these chemicals there, so this particular video doesn't really help with the sex ed of gay men.

Nothing wrong with nudity in an educational setting. Just make sure there are trigger warnings and you explain before doing anything.
I can say Nair works very well. But I got sick of using and wondering what chemicals they had to put in there so people can get those results. So I decided to do laser instead. It has been great. I don't even get embarrassed about holding *it* open for the technician

@@jesscarter2427 laser is soooo much less painful than waxing! it’s definitely not the most comfortable experience but most people rate it like a 2-4/10. it’s also less expensive over time ;)

I think it was shocking for a lot of people, but as someone who has used visual tutorials on youtube for health reasons (surgery, what to expect in consults, what to expect with certain scans and procedures etc) , this kind of content is incredibly useful.
I hope the spike in views, memes, and massive shock from viewers doesn't affect youtubes policy on these types of videos.

It technically is. If someone showed this to me with no warning, I'd immediately report them to HR. (I am a survior of sexual trauma, so it'd be extremely triggering for me to see a naked body.)
I wasn't bothered by the video, not after seeing people get unalived by cops on the 5 o'clock news... I'm 33, we grew up seeing horrific things online. Human bodies don't really shock me. I was only surprised that it was allowed on UA-cam.

Honestly mad respect for Kevin, his channel is focused on educational content about things that young people may feel uncomfortable asking someone for advice about in real life. I was surprised to see a butthole on youtube, my biggest takeaway from this is learning that nudity is allowed on youtube if it's educational which is news to me. It is interesting that so many people are being immature and saying they're "traumatized" from seeing a butthole (everyone on the planet has one) when the world has become very desensitized from a young age to porn and hypersexualization because of the internet. It's hilarious to me that something as normal as a butthole is making people lose their minds, it's definitely surprising to see it on youtube but I didn't feel "shock" since it's just a regular body part.
Well. Some people might actually be traumatized. Seeing another person's naked body without your consent can be triggering for people who have been sexually a****lted and/or sexually har***ed. As a survivor of SA, seeing another person's naked body makes me EXTREMELY uncomfortable and it's triggering.

I think "pranking" people with the video (especially in a workplace??) is completely inappropriate and the person is not at all consenting to seeing that. I think in the instance of people finding it on their own / looking it up though, they will have some idea of what the video is about since the title is pretty clear

That isn't immature to me. Many people are repulsed to seeing other people's bodies without warning and I myself have OCD so I couldn't handle seeing this guys ass on a youtube short. I think it's totally valid to be disgusted to something like this, esp bc they saw it unprovoked.

The whole trend of "jump scaring" people with the video without them consenting or knowing what they're watching is one thing but it kinda does give middle-school-health-class energy like yes men have body hair.
But at least when it comes to queer sex education in the US there's a lot that I just didn't learn and didn't really have anyone to comfortably ask when I was growing up but his videos are pretty helpful, straight to the point, and educational in a pretty normalizing way.
Im not going to lie, I love what Kevin is doing. He's working towards normalizing it even more. The fact he went a step further and made a whole course shows he's not just doing it for the shock factor

I think people are flaming him too hard. He's literally just giving genuinely good advice for people that need it and are too ashamed to ask.

It doesnt really matter, what matters is his reaction afterwards. Whether he take criticism in stride or starts getting upset is what is going to count in peoples minds. If he just ownd up to it and takes it in stride, this will blow over soon enough and will be remembered as a funny meme joke etc maybe even respected.

I wouldnt suggest putting Nair down there, but if you’re going to, then do a test patch in the uh…area and wait 24 hours before going ahead with the whole…hole. Really, he’s giving good advice, though. Stuff that never gets talked about but is pretty important stuff to know if you want to engage in certain activities. I approve of him and his straight to the point method!

Sure, his content is jarring initially, and he should definitely have a warning for nudity in case someone doesn’t want to see it but still wants a tutorial, but I do appreciate his straightforwardness and professionalism regarding the topic. I’d imagine it really is helpful for many people.

I think the most disgusting things I have seen that made me gag were 1. a guy eating maggots from a deercorpse 2. a lady having severe shits in a tub 3.
