Thanks fella for great advice, I so agree, this money making chip that DJI think they can get away with, is saved by good people like yourself. Love the t shirt by the way. I also, refuse, to buy a new battery from DJI for that very reason, they make enough money. Thanks again. I could not quite get the end bit, about the reset, but will try to work that bit out. The rest of the video is really good. andy [Merseyside UK]
Showing the reset points out of camera view is totally useless information especially when you say "see it there" and its out of shot but otherwise somewhat helpfull. Still shot of the "reset" points would be appreciated, thanks.
Is the video image reversed, somehow? Seems like the batt + and - are arse-backwards! Also , are these P4 Pro batts, as I'm sure mine for the basic P4 don't have the screws. Can't seem to split the case, all snaplocks and glue joints. Pity , as I have 5 all unflown and all gone into money-making mode ! Am I correct in thinking the batts for all P4 versios are the same? If I have to get new ones, the ones with the screws for the Pro might be a better bet for when, not if, they do this again.
I only had my black clamp hence why it looks wrong. Batteries are P4 pro, no idea if the normal p4 battery's are harder to get apart. I managed to get one of the 2 battery's working again , the other one need software. Best advise is keep them charged.
This has like a 50% of working. If it starts charging normally after you charge to 15volts it's good to go. But if it starts charging then turns off then starts again u need to use the software
Weird - i have 3 batteries with a P4 from 2016. 1 works fine - but two don't light at all, and do not charge. They don't have screws where indicated at the start of this video though?
@@portsmouthlivemusic for one cracked open eventually - absolutely nothing from the terminals - but I can't make out what the wire trick reset contact is as it's out of view if the camera? Any tips? Can check and see voltage on the cells
The reset point is a tiny spot that is labeled "RST". Bend a paperclip or something and touch the negative terminal to this point and hold for a few seconds. Also, the batteries with screws are the Pro batteries. But they will all fit the P4 series aircraft.

Thanks, saved me a hundred bucks.

It's like dji is trolling
Pretty useless without seeing the reset on the board
There's a small copper spot on the lower left of the board marked rst. Jump ground to rst to reset
@@ImTimT.Perfect, thanks for that!

Got a feeling they are not p4 pro batteries.

What charger are you using for that?
I borrowed it from work.
Did this fix them ?
Fixed one out of the two I had.
where's the reset point you're pointing to?
You will see a pin with RST written next to it.
