Shigekix and Tsukki on same team too OP. But shout-out to Robin and Kinder for making it this far in the finals at these world class events consistently for like 10 years now and Uzee for making every battle with him like twice as long as the others, lmao.
I agree with the judges, the other team though they had some unique moves, were not as dynamic as the winners. Though I feel that they made contributions that will push the art forward.
Robin, Kinder and Uzee deserve their flowers, all legends who pushed the scene so far not just within the CIS but the whole world. Even with all the wars going on, they still manage to evolve and push forward. Much much respects!
Настоящий качественный танец от ребят, это профессионализм. Японцы показали лишь часть очень хорошо, триксы и мув онли. Теперь есть с кого брать пример. Команда слева 100%
Green Panda with a masterclass in musicality 🔥 It's hard to explain but these young guns and the likes of Red Bull Allstars (like LIl Zoo, Shigekix or Phill Wizzard) have something in common is that they get so good at their moves that they just start spamming them (?). Speeding too much and going in and out of moves without taking the time to appreciate the music. This is a dance, and this battle Green Panda showed perfectly how you can pace yourself and still be on beat.
Agreed. XII moves are obviously extremely hard, take dedication and insane amount of time to master, the crew is clean and on point .... BUT .... i had to fight the urge to straight up skip some of their rounds. While each round separately is at a high level, taken together it looked like a VERY one-dimensional crew. Almost like the same bboy going out 3 times - same flow, same speed, same level changes, same freeze to the same "horn"... and that passes as "listening to the music" I know they took it, but i felt way more connected to Green Panda as every bboy was so unique. Reminds me of the old days where you knew the dancer the second they step in, and not just because of 1-2 signature moves, but the whole swagger and how they execute is uniquely theirs. What Robin and Kinder have lost in terms of pure physical "hard" moves with age they have MORE THAN made up with uniqueness, technicality and flavor. Hard to explain unless you have been around the scene for awhile...
phil and Shigekix/lilzoo are completely different style if u really take time to look at them…phil lee menno acutally have characters…but yes I agree shigekix needs to take time and stop doing similar freezes every round
@@kurtcur I know he’s different but it’s still apparent how they tend to speed it up a lot. I know it sounds odd but almost as if they get so good at controlling their moves that the execution does not look as good. The way Flea Rock does headspins into a simple freeze looks better than one done by Tsukki, or like Alkolil goes into freezes with a momentum that feels much more impactful than Phill. This is not to criticize any of them, just purely from observation.
this is dance? not according to a lot of bboys. If this was a dance, it wouldnt be at the olympics. ''Bboys'' like shigekix definitely push it more into the sports category. And if this was dance, there would be a different winner here.
Enjoyed watching how Robin, Kinder, Uzee dance much more than other team do whose sets i wanted to skip cause sets are boring and remaining same every round
well, this is also kind of the time game, where Green Panda lost to themselves...you can't take on the young gunz at the top of their physicality and not perform perfectly what you have put in work, at the end of the day they were more interesting and complex in terms of the moves and concepts but you can see they are hitting their 40s hard already, they still can perform great when there's more than 3on3 format, and they don't waste much of their material coming into the finals, however, the shapes, mobility, energy, little slips...all this is more seen in Green Panda then in the Japanese youth...and still we could argue back and forth saying 40 is not that old, look at Rox or Blond, same age but great, but we all age differently, and these guys been at the top of their game for quite long, but each body has its own limits, as each mind does...it was great to see them still in the final, battling for almost 20 minutes, but yeah, fair play to the youth, energy, dynamics, just would like to see more of thoughout materail from the youngsters, and not repetitive freezes and blow-ups, which are still insane
I'm kind of tired of por one as judge, sorry if You are not agree, i learned by storms footwork dvd but i don't know, the floor lords final footwork won against Venezuela, but this time dynamics won, probably because is Russia maybe!
Aint no way. Japan didn't even do any routines. So who was the better crew? Green Panda obviously. They also beat them 5 rounds to 3 using the Zenny Point System. The guy in the yellow shirt didn't seem to be on the same level as the rest of the competitors. That and doing no routines/commandos = Green Panda are the rightful winners of this.
Originality creativity and vibes (green panda) vs same robotic moves.... I love power moves but these guys keep doing the same flare, air flare, head spin, halo, freeze the whole battle.... green panda got robbed
I don't know, I don't understand how the Japanese won, the same power moves, 0 musicality, 0 attempts to merge with the music. Especially Shigekix is just a dud for me, his dance does not evoke any emotions at all. At the same time, my favorite b-boys are Physicx and Blond, I love power moves, but what the Japanese showed today is just emptiness.
You’re completely wrong, but I want to believe you’re being genuine, so in good faith let me tell you what I see. First, the Japanese bboys are much cleaner. Their moves are far more pronounced and dynamic. There’s no chaotic head shakes, no strange wobbles, nothing-their flow is super clean and creates distinct shapes. Second, “merging with the music”-you need to sharpen your senses. Watch Shigekix’s second round again. He starts with a headspin to get his momentum going -his flow, his egoless movement-and then proceeds to hit EVERY SNARE BEAT while maintaining overall composition (hitting the big down beats that come every two and four 8-counts). This doesn’t evoke emotion? You think he’s empty? You’re so close… Brother, HE’S FREE. Look again, look closer!! Tsukki is a power head, yes… watch how he times his power in his first round. He’s listening. He goes hard when the music hits a beat and softens when the music lets up. They are expressing the music just as purely and emotionally as any other dancer. More, I would say, than their opponents on the left in this case. If you are blind to this, open your mind and see that these bboys-Shigekix especially-are incredible teachers. We are blessed to be able to see their art like this. Peace ✌🏻
@@peacefully_dancing Very worthy answer, thank you. The thing is that I never leave the feeling that Shigekix is just the "Halo" move and very similar handstands with a very similar pose, and nothing more, I mean that he does not stand out from the others in any way. Flea Rock especially showed this in the battle against Shigekix, he repeatedly showed the judges that his stands are almost always the same. But this is my opinion, it should be noted that I am not a professional in breakdancing, but only an experienced spectator. And I will also remind you that I love the power move, my favorite b-boys are Physicx, Blond, Kill. But the likes of Shigekix, Issin, LilZoo and the like, for me, they are all the same. I heard a quote, it goes something like this: "We should appreciate Taisuke because he represents himself, while many others make any moves just to win the battle, losing their own style and face." I don't remember who said it, but the meaning is something like this. It seems like they are more concerned with their appearance, clothes and coolness, rather than the dance they have to perform.
Green pandas always keepin it original, but i think taking it easy on team japan was not a good choice. The final shouldve been the flexible flav vs XII instead, that matchup was legendary and could have gone either way. This one the green panda just took their time to do simple moves to hit the beat which is cool but not as entertaining for a real Battle in Finals
Its very sad where the Olympics lead the breking...i ben said it for years we gonna lose the breaking as we know it...its the athletic era enjoy it robots 😂
@@iberkaten let’s be honest shigekix and hiro10 are the most athletic bboys among all Olympic breakers, and yet they got no medals (hiro10 barely got points in all his rounds😂) maybe in that sense Olympics did something right😂
