Another very nice set. Barry is present on several tunes, much appreciated. I hear him clearly in Emmet's playing, and I'm one of the thousands whose lives he touched. As always, Emmet comps his ass off. Grant is sort of new to me, I like his playing. And how about the challenge for a guy from South Africa relating to lyrics about Christmas in NYC in the '50s and other US Christmas traditions. Note to sound mixer -- see those round brass colored things above the drums? They're called cymbals, and jazz drummers play them a LOT -- it's an important part of their music! It would be really great to HEAR them when playing in the rhythm section (as opposed to solos) as something more clearly defined than leakage into other mics!
A wonderful pre-Christmas gift of yet another brilliant concert from Emmet and friends. Thank you for sharing your talent. Have a blessed and joyous Christmas and New Year! 💝

Great band, great vocalist Vuyo Sotashe
Again, I congratulate Emmet for his album "Future Stride" voted No. 1 for 2021 by JazzWeek! Awesome!
Vuyo Sotashe moved me to tears.... again...
Vuyo has safety pins as earrings in the right ear. Pretty badass
I feel like this is one of those sets you'll find yourself coming back to as a late night ritual
Evan is a hell of a drummer ! Wow
Vuyo Sotashe gets better every time I see him in a new video. It's less emotional and more melodic, and that's just right for me.
Vuyo sings like an Angel.
Never heard of Vuyo. Glad I tuned in. A super jazz singing talent. You can hear every consonant, something I find often lacking.
Beautiful music. You are a great. Congratulations!

Emmet Когда успеваете учить наизусть : Ведь композиции сложные .
am i the only one having problems with the sound tho?
No,he is blatantly
imitating a female’s voice.
