I was at the Opera Garnier for that Don Giovanni. I can't say if this video is exactly the evening I was at or one of the other evenings. But I can say this : Nicole's Mi tradì, that night I was there, turned the world on its head. As someone who loves Don Giovanni and has seen it live a few times already, nothing can compare. That night, she sang and we held our breaths. It was perfect : her, alone on stage, no distractions, and... music.
Perhaps the most beautiful moment of all my concerts. And the resounding silence of the Opera Garnier aroud me, before the thunderous applause, agreed : thank you Ms Car. Thank you.
