Hi Chris hope you are well and have had a good week another joyous video with another amazing theme great last tracks to finish albums I need to be perfectly honest with you I’ve never heard anything by Rory Gallagher but I’ve heard good things I will definitely listen to some of his stuff have a wonderful weekend please keep these videos coming they are such a joy STEVE
Excellent video Chris. Even though I am primarily a soul, funk and jazz fan I have to agree with you on Astronomy. The whole album is superb and that closing track is perfect.
wow another 39 great albums with awesome closing tracks, glad you picked slow train by quo its my favourite track by them, great video really enjoyed it after a hard dirty day at work it was spot on, cheers chris
Hi Chris, what a playlist this makes, blooming brilliant. It doesn't get any better than your number one choice. The Eddie and The Hot Rods closer is superb, when I first heard it I thought it was a mistake on the pressing as it was so heavy.
Fantastic 1st choice Chris, couldn't argue with it, my other choice would be from a more recent album which may be regarded as prog, but the guitar solo, whichI think is almost an equal to comfortably numb is amazing, it's 'last one home' by lifesigns from the album altitude.
@garypeacock5919 not sure anyone would watch if I went on too much. It’s not really meant to be any great music review channel. More of a nostalgic trip. Always looking for honest feedback. I enjoy sharing my records and the conversations I have about music. Cheers Gary, Chris
Ho Chris, great video as per usual ,you've now done best opening tracks for punk/new wave, rock and closing tracks. What about doing favourite live albums for a video?.
Oh yes, great choices. I knew When the Levee Breaks would be on the list, and Free Bird. I haven't listened to Black Rose in years so that'll be remedied tonight. La Villa Strangiato, wow, seeing them perform it live on the Hemispheres tour nearly did my head in, perfect. Just a thought on the last video, did you consider Alice Cooper's Hello Hooray from Billion Dollar Babies or School's Out from School's Out? Keep up the great work, always a pleasure
Very interesting that you mentioned your own funeral. I have told my people that I want to have „Throw Down The Sword“ played at my funeral. It is my favourite closing track. #2 Axe - Battles, #3 Ian Hunter - The Outsider, #3 Uriah Heep - Paradise/The Spell, #4 Shooting Star - Last Chance, #5 Doc Holliday - Lonesome Guitar, #6 City Boy - Ambition, #7 Fandango - Time Will Tell, #7 Grag Lake - For Those Who Dare, #8 Gillan - Fighting Man, #9 Mink DeVille - Heaven Stood Still (played this at my late wife‘s funeral), #10 Deep Purple - Keep On Moving P.S. I did not mention those you had already mentioned.
Fabulous list. A couple there I avoided as I have shared them before. Gillan and Deep purple. Fighting Man is my favourite Gillan performance. I didn’t go for Doc H although I love it as it was similar to Free Bird and Green Grass. Thought about Can’t you See by Marshall Tucker tbh. A fair few from that list I have and need to revisit. Love Mink De Ville btw. Thanks for sharing your thoughts my friend. Have a lovely weekend, Chris
Enjoyed your video. If you will do a video of closing tracks on "punk" lps I would be greatly interested. My first 2 votes are tied. Both from The Stranglers. "Down in the Sewer" from "Rattus Norvegicus" and "School Mam" from "No More Heroes". Cheers!!
Hi Chris. I started watching this video over a week ago but then got sidetracked by the American election (unfortunately). Good selection, I finally got a copy of that Michael Schenker album a couple of weeks back. I actually enjoyed the first half more so will have to go back and give side 2 another go. I'm often that way with hard rock though, I kind of get fatigued after a few tracks (I should cue them up from side 2 for a change, but I can't bring myself to).
@@jamesgriffithsmusic assault attack with schenker and graham bonnet is decent. Desert song is very good. I like msg first lp. Saw him on that tour and a brief cameo with scorpions in 1980
A strong album closer is Black Diamond by Kiss (debut lp).it was a mainstay of the concert set list. I also agree that Alex Lifeson is a brilliant guitarist!🎸
I knew Light in the Black would be your No.1 before watching. It´s almost a natural twin to Stargazer. Impossible one without the other. Cozy´s finest moment.......

Cheers Stephen. Some easy choices to be fair. Have a great weekend, Chris

Interestingly I have thought about putting Spotify playlists in the description of each video! Cheers Steve, Chris
Given what I’ve seen of your taste Chris I saw A Light in the Black coming from a mile away. Great finisher. Enjoyable video. Thank you
Was always going to be that one! Cheers, Chris

Not heard that one. Will seek it out Gary. Cheers my friend, Chris
@TheVinylOrchard Great channel Chris, short, concise and to the point.

Great choices Chris! I would only change a couple but superb taste! 👍
Generally they picked themselves if I’m honest. Cheers Ian. Have a great weekend

I may consider it but I find that genre do it less well than rock. Cheers, Chris
