u always use the expertise of the weapon u already use,in this case the 2h mace...and u can choose another one,2h axe for vul dmg or 2h swords for bleed dmg
every single weapon's expertise is automatically in effect if you are using that weapon to cast the skill. for example, hota requires a 2h mace, so your 2h mace is always in effect when you hota swing. whatever you equip in the expertise slot, will be applied to every single one of your attacks. i chose the 2h axe expertise because it is 15% vuln dmg.

Even with this build and damage bug how many trys did it take to kill her ? xD
Over 200 lol. Barb doesn’t do enough damage to cheese her or kill her in one stagger window. So I had to learn the ins and outs of every single mechanic.
It was satisfying to learn it all though and then finally beat her. I don’t think it would’ve been as fun if all I was trying to do was finish my build to one shot her.
@@LFEHova thank you for your honesty i cant get passed the 2 enforcers faze they annoy me so much boss has alot of cheap 1 shot mechanics and a lot of things can go wrong (rng) :D
@@maverik5238 I would say keep at it. The waves actually become very predictable with enough practice. The most RNG part of the fight is spawning the blood pools in phase 2, but even that has a level of control when you figure out how to run the path to make them spawn where you want.
best of luck and i hope you clear it!
Dang. 6 minute kill! Now if only your could do 3x damage Barb could be as good as the other classes.
ain't that the truth lol
wait why are you using axe expertise when you aren't using an axe? does it work with a mace? is it a bug?
CONGRATS ON THE BIG KILL
u always use the expertise of the weapon u already use,in this case the 2h mace...and u can choose another one,2h axe for vul dmg or 2h swords for bleed dmg
every single weapon's expertise is automatically in effect if you are using that weapon to cast the skill. for example, hota requires a 2h mace, so your 2h mace is always in effect when you hota swing.
whatever you equip in the expertise slot, will be applied to every single one of your attacks. i chose the 2h axe expertise because it is 15% vuln dmg.
why do you hota away from the boss?
Hota AoE aspect hits harder than direct hits. So to maximize damage always hit to the side or away from the target.
@@theseventhammerthis is the correct answer :)
Yeah im screwed on ps5. On controller its almost impossible to aim sway and hit since it auto targets closest enemy.. I have to wait with lilith til season one and roll another class :(
Because its bugged and this build only works from a bug
@@cleanerbotx someone replied on my reddit thread, saying there is a way to hota away from the target on controller. you can try googling the reddit thread and seeing if it works
Hey! I'm having trouble hitting the 20mil crits that you are, the max I get is around 6-10. I have all my glyphs maxed and here are my stats:
Crit Strike Chance: 42.5 | Crit Strike Damage: 364.2 | Overpower Damage: 274 | Vulnerable Damage: 348.6 | Primary Mace 2,665 DPS
Any thoughts on what I should increase to hit those bigger numbers? Thanks for sharing!
your crit dmg and vuln dmg are much lower than mine, i'm around 470 of both, i would double check your paragon boards and make sure you are getting all the vuln damage you can, and make sure you have heavy handed +3
Thank you!!
