A short piece of shaft with a flat tip in the spare shaft holder on the butt. Great location for a spare power head or flashlight. I started doing that last year and it helps with the balance. No more heavy tip of the spear.
I am sorry for my comments about fishing with tanks. I didnt know that it is legal in your area. Any way please respect as much as you can the marine life on the spots that you are diving. 👍
I appreciate you stepping up and apologizing. It takes a bigger man to do that. We definitely follow the rules and regulations and try not to beat up spots too often or too hard because it will kill the spot and that will no longer produce for years. The deep black grouper caves we try to only hit once or twice a year so they will continue producing trophy fish like they do now.
That’s when it came out from under the bow. I seen it go under earlier. Might have been two of them. After watching the video I seen another one go under from in front out in the sand

Yeah, I could definitely try that. Might be a really good spot for the flashlight.
@@jasonbihari with the side mount , there isnt any obstruction. Also feels more balanced if you rock a powerhead on one shaft.
@@Figjamfishslayer are you just using like a 3 inch piece of shaft or a full length?
@@jasonbihari just a 3 inch section. M85 has lots of drops . I just lightly chamfered the ends. Holds a powerhead too.

What is your gas setup on this dive?
Low nitrox in back gas with high nitrox for deco bottle.

U need to show more after the dive footage
I let it play till the recap is over most of the time. After that it might get boring. Just cleaning up gear and figuring out the next spot
Too deep for me. Tanks empty quickly...........
They can go fast for sure. I typically get 2 dives per and sometimes a 3rd if not much going on
