Hi Daniela! Thank you for your videos! I would love to learn more about the ceremony parts of an ecstatic dance, like the opening and closing. Thank you!😍
excuse me, but your "rules" are exactly what ecstatic dance is NOT ABOUT. it is NOT about imposing yourself on others. it is about not rules where one uses movement to express themself. - if people want to talk - they can talk. - unless it's a private event - if they want to film - then they can film. - if the dance takes places in an outdoor venue some people will feel more secure and freeing to wear shoes rather go barefoot!
Actually most ecstatic dances have these guidelines in place. I think all ecstatic dances at least have the rules about being barefoot, no talking, no videotaping, and being sober… unless it’s a private event that expresses they wish to not follow these rules. This is the basis of “ecstatic dance.” There are other types of freeform dance events that may have no rules.
Nice Daniela! Very clear! ❤️🙌🏼❤️
Thanks Mirjam, I’m glad to hear it from you ❤️
THX for the reminders!!!
