My second favorite boss fight in the game, second to Shockwave. I would have liked it more if they did two things: 1. Make Soundwave use more than two cassettes at a time by increasing how many minions he'll send out. The higher the difficulty, the more he'll send out. (Ex. One cassette at a time on Scout difficulty, all five cassettes on Prime difficulty). 2. The cassettes should constantly be sent out while being flat-out unkillable on Prime difficulty. Take those elements and voila! An insane boss battle!
Oh DAMN that soundtrack, thats so epic, epicer than all other soundtracks to this game(aside from the final boss fight) definitely has a personality like soundwave
sadly there's no ratbat,overkill or slugfest. but I don't mind wingthing,howlback,beastbox and squawktalk but hey,soundwave's got TONS of cassette minions
In the cartoon he is, however the toys isn't. Devastation is supposed to be modernized g1, which you can see with Megatron's alt mode being a tank, Offroad replacing Wildrider as Menosor's leg, and rumble being red.
