These guys, while simple and basic, still show some originality and capture the spirit of the original punk/new wave/garage scene with their energy and sense of humor. A cut above the no talents like The Muggs and Hard Lessons for sure.
I have changed my opinion of the Muggs after seeing them on that bullshit show where they made bands play covers of Elton John and Billy Joel, and after seeing them live not too long ago. They remind me of some of the late 60s/early 70s heavy riff jam bands that I always liked. Danny is a solid guitarist, but I still think he is a cut below guys like Bobby East and Robert Gillespie, and no way is he in the same league with that young dude from Alucard who now plays in A Wilhelm Scream.
Loved this when it came out, love it now. From Jon out of The Stabilisers.
Really miss hanging out with these guys. Sooooooo much fun.
Just getting into local music. What are some great bands.
Well The Henchmen obviously. You can also check out The Sights as well.

The Muggs have no talent? Are you kidding me? Methric is one the best guitarists in the city.
