Making a 130% recruitable population modifier to your manpower pool. It'll scale the collectivization focus, mass assault, and extensive conscription from 12% to 15.6% which is a nice chunk of pop to get into your manpower pool for (mostly) free
Regarding the collaboration Gouvernement Dave, you should have waited some days. It Jumped back to 437. While it is way lower than 482 and you loose all the ressources, you have manpower instead through puppet template + the garrison is back in the manpower pool. You can reclaim the ressources (80 ressources / civ, instead of 8 ressources / civ) so the ressources are not really a problem, and the autonomy gain can be neutered through continuous focus and construction. Best nations to make collab are those with alot of manpower and are poor in ressources. Mainly Africa, India (no agrarian national spirit = 20 milions manpower) and China (no debuff to manpower, 20 milions too).

Actually I think it would last long. Our biggest problem are foreign powers who divide us as they please since we're the crossroad between the Middle East, Western Europe and Eastern Europe. If we were united I don't think they could penetrate our politics that easily.

that glitch where you could build in poland happened to me with korea when i was playing as china. korea was totally independent, but i could build in them. they had compliance and resistance, i didn't have military access. two of my own core states in the center of china had compliance and resistance for no reason. this occurred after japan surrendered to me.

You should try to form the Macedonian empire as Greece. You can do this by either going fascist without Metaxas or by putting the king in charge. For both of these to actually form the nation you have to finish the focuses that are at the very end of each of these paths
Honestly, it feels like half of these exploits you need an insane amount of luck to pull off. I tried over a dozen of times, and not even once the other balkan countries switched to coummunism with less than 60%. They even got to 75% and still didn't switch. Not to mention Romania has a focus completed around april '39 which gives it a 35% democratic support wich really sets you back.
You need to be lucky and precise with the focus tree, i ve done it first try, if the countries hit 50% communist support before their election they will flip rather easily

Something I remember noticing is when you take the United Balkans Focus you integrate all puppets. Stuff like Germany or the Soviet Union. I think you even get their cores if I remember correctly.
Why don’t you integrate the Zveno and do the Fatherland Front focus so you can get the major mil bonuses? The Zveno stop being a problem when you integrate them so is it just a constraint for time? Edit: Can you list the focuses you should do in the right order? 👉👈🥺

The reason collaborative governments are overpowered is mainly when used with early game states like the African territories for France/UK/Spain because it releases a bunch of nations with their own manpower pools and access to the Default focus tree *industry* paths so when they get their seven or so factories from the focus tree, about 70% of them go to you. So it's mainly used for non-major nations. But it is also nice to get a huge percentage of manpower and factories without having to garrison, plus they can make ALOT of divisions. They are practically just puppets with a much higher contribution to you. Plus they look pretty on the map and don't get any modifiers from the real nations (ex. if you make a collab-India you get all the manpower without any debuffs as the actual British Raj has)
I really hope Paradox reworks ideology flipping at some point. Late 1940: finally Romania and Greece flip around the same time, Turkey sitting at 91% Red Party support and is still Non-Aligned. I see Hungary taking a bite out of Romania, then the Soviets taking one out of Romania... and I can do jack shit about it, because my focus was so delayed due to none of them flipping. *Poland had already capitulated before I could even form my faction (sans Yugo).*

I think this guide needs to be redone. Even at 65% Turkey and Greece don't flip and Romania uses a Focus that cuts their communism support way down. Dunno if it is because of the latest patch or your insanely lucky RNG but that doesn't work very well for a guide.
I think its much better to just keep the Zveno faction. Without them you dont really have any good military ministers and I have been able to do the federation while keeping them before so I recommend don't crush them at all. Im not sure if im missing something but I never had a problem with them rising up. Their prime minister is also good as a replacement. He gives entrenchment bonuses, defensive bonuses, and recrutable pop bonuses. The only group I crush are the monarchist and thats it. I integrate the socialist 1st. Then crush the monarchist. Then integrate the Zveno and agrarians last. I've never had any civil wars this way.
@FeedBackGaming there is a way to get rid of the restrictions faster. Just go for the renegotiation focus and do the decisions then you only need to slightly improve relations with the UK.They will refuse the first time but then you press them for lifting the restrictions and they will just accept it.
You also get the navy and airforce aswell 💀so you can pretty much have a navy on par with USSR and 50% of italy, you can get 2 aditional battleships if greece does the "british docking rights" focus, or you can get only 1 if greece does the "restore schachtplan" you can also get lots of industry(mostly mils) if yugoslavia does the economic path of its nation focus. You get lots of manpower from Romania, and quite some good generals and The Best balkan economy, you also gain lots of manpower from turkey and its good industry, on top of that you can gets LOTS of dockyards from Bulgaria's focuses, by doing the focus "Bulgaria on The three seas" (adriatic, black and aegean sea) which gives you 2 naval dockyards on any state with 1 dockyards already built along the coast of aegean, adriatic and black sea, plus 1 naval Base and 2 coastal forts on The coaste of those 3 seas. Pretty op focus if you want to be a naval power.

Collaboration goverment is a good choise if you're strugling with resistance and don't have a lot of manpower or equipment to suppress that resistance. Collaboration government also allows you to use that nations manpower far better than you could if said nation was annexed because the CG has cores and you don't. You still get a very large portion of their industry anyways. However if suppression is not an issue and manpower is not an issue, then it's better to just occupy all that land. That's how I see it anyways.

Managed to do this as Democratic but I think it is slower, but then I managed to integrate all 4 factions. The bad news? It was right at the time that Italy declared on Yugoslavia and pull me into WW2
The funny thing is... I think this is easier with Democratic Bulgaria. Yeah, you can do the SAME exact thing as Democratic Bulgaria and personally, it's easier given the ability to guarantee other nations in reasonable world tension.

The funny thing is... I think this is easier with Democratic Bulgaria. Yeah, you can do the SAME exact thing as Democratic Bulgaria and personally, it's easier given the ability to guarantee other nations in reasonable world tension.
