I never knew the tip could roll! This was a really cool watch! Your critiques and suggestions were fascinating! I hope versions are made that's more detailed to incorporate these real-life elements. 😁
Thank you for checking it out! I think it would be really cool to see more realism implemented as the line potentially continues to evolve, giving kids a really realistic depiction of the tools used by people with disabilities so that they don’t become scary, but they become an ordinary part of play. I have had a kiddo that I used to work with create a cane out of Connex, and then walk around my classroom with his eyes closed asking me how it worked. And get this, he was a preschooler at the time :-)
Thank you so much for this review video! I am a Barbie collector and I haven't been lucky enough to find this doll in stores yet, but I want to add her to my collection, and I appreciate your particular expertise on the doll. A Barbie collector from the UK who is vision impaired mentioned that the cane was too long, do you think it is the correct length? I also wish Mattel had made a collapsing cane but they do lots of shortcuts to keep prices low. Filming dolls with one hand while trying to show and describe them is very difficult so well done :) [smiley face]
Thank you very much! Kane height is a very relative thing, when I was a kid I used one that was about up to my armpit, as an adult I use a cane about as tall as I am, and I fused heights in between such as up to my shoulder or up to my nose, it’s a matter of personal preference. Most canes in the style that this doll came with are usually used shorter because they are rather heavy. The kind of cane that I use Tends to be longer because they are lighter weight and thus the heavy cane being taller doesn’t wear out your wrist as much, but like I said it’s a matter of personal preference that very much depends on your travel style.
Can you tell me more about that? I have never seen a toy one but that’s awesome. I hope they can make improvements if they iterate on it further, especially for the tactical fuel and functionality that are more realistic cane could provide.
@@blindovermatter3054it was the invention of a very creative student of mine. Orange, connect rods and blue connectors connected in the proper form and fashion of a standard can of yours by the way, sir. this is Madame Klees myUA-cam handle is in my maiden name and there’s no telling how badly Siri mangled it. All the telling French involved.

It would have been nice if they had some Black sunglasses for that Barbie
I would also appreciate the option of maybe having different styles and colors of sunglasses
Found at a local Target store! Cool
If Mr. WJ can build a toy cane solo....so too can the Mattel corporation.....

Cool review. Are you completely blind to the point where you just see black when you open your eyes or are you only partially blind?
I have some usable vision, thank you for asking
