What’s with the soundtrack speeding up and slowing down?

I often still see them driving in Poland! It has the nickname "Maluch", they're super cute, in some cities I've seen you can rent them for an afternoon to cross around the roads :P

I think they look cute now. Back when I was younger, in the 1970s and 80s, I thought they weren't very cool. They were noisy, slow, and cramped. I remember being on a trip to Romania and we were taking an extended break at a gas station. I remember watching an orange Polski Fiat 126 in which a son was trying to teach his mother how to drive. She was a little to quick on the clutch release and kept killing the engine. Everyone standing around the gas station was cheering her on. After one of the stalling episodes, the car wouldn't restart and the son had to get out and push while his mother steered. He sheepishly said that this had happened before and he would have to repair the car at home. It made me wonder about the reliability of the car!

Miałem Polski Fiat 126p wyprodukowany w 1989 roku. Był ciasny, niewygodny i bardzo awaryjny. Nadwozie szybko korodowało. Średnie zużycie paliwa wynosiło 6,5l/100km.
