Hey y’all my best guess for the lamp effect was that he set the cloth up in a certain way. If you go at .25 speed at 2:20, it looks like he is wrapping the cloth around the lamp
Not too sure if i should reveal this already widely known trick but: Thin transparent plastic card, with slot for cloth. cloth goes through the slot, below the phone, then pulled upwards
The trick is really simple, he makes the cloth slide under the phone, then when it come to the end he pulls it really fast so the person wont notice it went right under. Behind the phone he uses his finger to support the cloth and make out that way. If you notice the start of the cloth is larger than the end of the cloth so it covers the area where it is going under the phone.
On a slow motion speed, you will be able to see how it goes around the phone and not through the phone. This can be possible with a clear gadget that he is holding in his fingers. Check on slow motion 1:00 to 1:01. He is good, but I do believe some of his tricks are staged. that would be great if he reveals few of them, like the President Lincoln hat (it can only be done if the girl was an accomplice) But I still love the show, and it always challenged me to figure out his tricks
Mike: You can pull the cloth through your phone to clean the inside without making any holes "..." Mike: It can also clean finger prints....like this. "HOW DID YOU DO THAT!?"
2:21 Ive already looked over 10 times at 0.25 slo-mo speed and still cant work out how the cloth and lamp trick works. At first I thought he double folded it in his right hand and pulled it tight to look like it went through the lamp - similar to 'criss angel and the chain through his neck trick' but this logic doesnt work on this one ... im gazumped!
To get a better look at things on UA-cam, if you pause the video at 2:21 you can use the comma button or the period button to see the video frame-by-frame; the comma goes back a frame at a time, the period goes forward. Hope this helps you :p

vishal s - There's a clear strip of plastic over the phone screen I believe. So the sheet goes from his hand under the phone then loops up to go underneath the plastic strip.
