  • English excerpts from Tongkhor rinpoche today’s teaching on"The Words of my Perfect Teacher”(79)
The importance of keeping a sincere intention and attention to the practices in general and especially for monks while doing last rites and other blessings while visiting people’s home. Engaging in rituals or prayers with ill intent will hurt the deceased or weak more and further deteriorate their situations. So generating Bodhichitta and cultivating loving kindness for all during pujas are key.
Another key point was how Vajrasattva mantra recitation combined with purifying meditation can offset all forms of impurities and negativity, plus reciting the Hundred Syllable Mantra while focusing on Vajrasattva alone will help to stall the increase of daily negative activities and accumulations.
Today’s class also concludes the chapter of Vajrasattva practice which you take on by seeing your own Guru as Vajrasattva who is the embodiment of all the Buddhas and deities - a term known as “The Gem That Includes All” process”.
Of course, all the virtuous deeds accumulated from this small service to Dharma and welfare of beings are dedicated for fulfillment of the profound and expansive wisdom of our beloved teacher Gan Rinpoche Geshe Thupten Rinchen Palzangpo 🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼
Taught by H.E. Siling Tongkhor Rinpoche on JULY 21st, 2024 🙏🙏🙏🌹🌹🌹❤❤❤
