got back to work on the 1982 honda MB5 and got her running again but wayyyyyy better this time. I fixed the head gasket , threw on a malossi PHBG carburetor kit with a dellorto PHBG 21mm AS clamp style carburetor, with a new proma gp performance exhaust pipe. Still got a bunch of goodies from treatland to throw on in the next vid, will be giving the MB5 a full refresh on brakes and tuning! - Авто та транспорт
Before I start this video, imma do a drinking game for the word piece and see how absolutely smashed I'll be at the end😂
hahahahahaha!
Piece was said 8 times, that’s a little buzz
He actually said it 11 times
I had the mb5 as my first moped when i was 15 back in 1991. With the then hard to find Proma exhaust and a Fast Arrow sylinder kit, it was really fast. Or at least i thought so...😂
Good memories
Love the mb5 you got it running soo much better glad to see the progress, lovin the 2 smoke content
WOW!!! I have not seen an MB5 in a really long time. Nice Find Trevor!!!
Glad to the this running again! Thanks for sharing. A loud smokey thumbs up!
Great stuff Brutha! We wanna see that headlight beamin'. BTW the word you're looking for is "Vacuum leak". 👍
sounds super good!! love the pipe as well, the bike sounds great. also usually the cheap carbs suck i have had a few that where good and they where replicas they where still like $100.
Sick bike sick video man looking at get a project Honda myself soon
Keep it up man, good ass videos and good ass bikes make some fun ass times 🤟
Did u now the mb8 engine fits? Same bolt pattern.
There are a lot of 125cc cilinder kit available for these engines
Wheelie time
That’s sick man love the look of it
You might wanna look into an 80cc engine with 125 Athena kit. The combination will probably set you back about 500-600 euros fully rebuilt here in the Netherlands! And then you will need a carb (28mm maikuni from ali will do more than fine for example) and an exhaust, but it is a direct bolt in replacement (you will need to drill 2 holes for the cylinder mount because it is taller). If you need any advice or parts just hit me up, shipping might be pricey because I'm based in the Netherlands, but literally every part you can think of are in stock in shops here.
Port n' Polish (exhaust) dat ish, SON! Windowed piston, squishband, all that 2 stroke talk stuff na'mean? Dat little Fiddy CC gone fly to da moon once you do!
Sounds sooooo good
Do you have access to Piaggio/Gilera scooters in the USA? They’re amazing scooters and are really popular here in Europe.
Yep My dude i can not get an extra engine at All for My old zip :/
Bro I am in Boulder City man. U should come ride out here.
What cc? and what kind of more tuning your gonna add to that?:D
it’s got a 70cc kit, might mess with sprocket size a bit too
Honda bond baby
You should get a copper gasket though. Those steel ones are known to leak
havent found one for the polini 70cc
damn a dell'orto carb. here in denmark it is some of the most recommend tune carbs for puch maxis and stuff. Polini carbs are the best for mopeds here.
I like to use keihin voor mine, they seem to work the best/easy
Polini is also a good carb
Im not a fan of dellorto
@@jur98 Well dellorto’s are quiet good if you get Them tuned right. But i would either take a keihin or a makuni
nice
Yuppppp
Anyone using
honda MB5 malossi PHBG carburetor? Is it good?
are you interested in selling your MB5? I am highly interested in your specific way of having made this one so cool! really cool what you done!
If you might want to sell it please get back to me and we could talk more and see what is possible!
thanks for showing us your great work, is really inspirational!
I have one with 1,800 miles on oem plates
@@JoeMama-ce5cy made like a cafe racer?
Is The mb5 50cc?
it’s got a 70cc kit in it
Delly carbs the best
i noticed that the carb in not straight . . . Just saying . Nice bike
I want buy the old pipe
Put a Honda h 100 engine in it bolts straight in
The rear shocks are upside down
they have to be otherwise the springs rub the frame rails bc they’re aftermarket shocks
you should really get into motorized bike tuning, there’s hardly anyone who makes videos on them
Yoooo
Delorto is real deal i have piaggio nrg mk4 built up ,i live in europe thats why i can get that type off scoters u at the states cant get that type shit u shuld try to connect to scooterpower.net
